Chapter 6
Confessions of a Father


*Evan noticed an expression on his father's face he had never seen before. It looked like he was debating on whether or not to tell him something. Evan said to his father, "Dad is something wrong? 'You look like something's troubling you. His dad burst out laughing. When he was done he said, "Hey whose the therapist here?" At this the both burst out laughing. When they were done laughing an awkward silence spread though out the tent. Evan's father was the one to break it. "Its time." Evan said, "Its time you knew the truth." Evan had a puzzled look on his face and then he burst out with questions. "The truth? Truth about what? What are you talking about?" His father waited there in silence and waited. When Evan noticed he dad was not talking he instantly fell quiet. His father said only one word "Finished?" Evan merely nodded his head. His father began, "About 1,000 years ago an oracle foretold of a prophesy. The prophecy went like this, When a child is born on All Hallo's Eve at the Bewitching Hour the child of two halves shall be born. When the child reaches his 18th year of birth the moon shall be reviled he will be in his human half, but he transformed into his other half on this night. This other half will be a beastly half . The child will receive a mark signifying the transformation. This will complete the child's change the child's transformation into half man and half beast. Evan let me see your wrists." Evan slowly held out his wrists out. His father grabbed the one with the bite mark and he said, "You are the phorphized child! This signifes your birth right! I can not tell you any more. But your real father can." "WHAT?!" Evan yelled in shock and disbelief . "Step outside and meet your real father." Evan's father said.
