By the Sea

(I wrote this as fast as I could while listening to "By the Sea" by Modern Life is War... then I organized it better and here it is... hope ya like it.)

Alone, dark,
moving, walking, slowly,
loosing faith. Fading away.
Finding strength. Seems hopeless.
FREE and angry.
My life is mine again.
Revenge is on my mind.

Nothing will make me feel okay.
I’ll never be normal again.

Caged for so long.
The road ahead is a new one.
My heart is free at least.

We are one again.
Lost but not alone.

Running from the truth.
We see the truth.
We are at our end.

NO… We’ll leave those times behind.
We are strong.
Nothing can stop us when we are together.
How far must we go before we are free?

I don’t need more pain. I need strength.
I will make it. I won’t lose. I know I’ve done this to myself but
I will survive this.
