- So.. after my whole march surgery has gone and passed I thought things would finally work out in my benefit..
now why would I think that?
This is me after all.
So anyways, for the past 2 weeks after my trip to New York City, I've been having weird pains that i thought may be related to the same pains I was getting before my march surgery.
So whatever, went to the hospital, waited about 8 hours to find that it's probably a bladder infection because of something I may have been drinking while in NYC.
So got pills, thought I'd get better. Ok 1 day later, the pain is ten times worst, I can barely walk because of it. Thought maybe I was allergic to something in the pills so went back to the hospital 2 days later after being there the first time.
They tried keeping me there for about 12 hours. After the first 8 I finally told them to screw themselves, if they weren't going to tell me anything then I was leaving. So that happened. Ok a week later, the pain seems gone I'm fine, life is good again.
Now fast forward a few days later to get to Monday. Finally got through a whole week of school without any problems, next week I'm thinking things will be fine. Make it through half of the school day on Monday, I've got some pain that's kinda discomforting, so me being me, I thought it was just because of gym class that morning and that the pain would be gone by the afternoon. Afternoon hits, the pain is only getting worse. By the time night comes I can barely walk, moving even the slightest hurts like hell. Ok fast forward to this morning (with it being Tuesday) I decide enough is enough, I'm going to see my family doctor to see if my "infection" is gone. Get to the doctor's office, my mom is with me at this point since i can barely walk on my own, explain what is going on. He checks out my files, finds a note from the hospital about the tests I did while I was there.
So he said to my mom and I "well you have gallstones, so it's expected you'll be in pain." Now I stopped listening after gallstones, I turned to my mom with a "wtf?" expression set on my face.
So yeah.. the hospital ******** up big time. They didn't tell me f*ck all about that. So when my doctor asked if we knew anything about it and we said no, he was just like "ok well we need to set up a surgery appointment as soon as possible."
So here I am now, met with the surgeon already, currently taking some perks, and dealing with damn pain until we find out when my surgery will be to get my gallblader removed.
I just hope it's either before my prom or after it.
Moral of the story is: My city hospital has shitty patient services.
