I missed the bus once again. I really don't know what's wrong with me, maybe after having so much fun yesterday, I just zone out and school loses importance in my brain, and sleep hits the #1 spot on Things To Do. Anyway, this meant, another morning in the ever-so-famous-and-now-somewhat-popular-pantry, or I would actually have to wake up, and leave the house, most likely hang out at Border's or the Library, and since I was told #1 was first in order, to the pantry I went.
I had about 3 dreams from waking in and out of it, I don't know what it is with that place. Maybe I should make it my secret refuge or something. Nevertheless, I got out of it when my dad left for work, and snuck upstairs so my brother wouldn't hear me. I tried to be as quiet as a I could until 2 o'clock, and fortunately for me, they were showing a bunch of Fostor's Home For Imaginary Friends episodes on T.V. so I got another free day. When it was time for most people to be out of school, I headed over to my friend Kalen's. (He's the one who gave me the bad luck, remember?) He said he wanted to go to IHOP, which I was all for, considering I hadn't eaten all day or tried to go back downstairs, for fear of being caught. It only took him about an hour to get ready, and by then I was nawing on the driver's seat on the way there, with his girlfriend in the front.
To pass the time waiting for the food, Kalen showed me these papers his friend had had to find on the net for his U.S. Government class. They were a bunch of insanely ridiculous but true laws, in each of the states. For instance, apparently in Utah it's against the law to not drink milk. I suddenly had the awful idea of sending Ed from Full Metal Alchemist there. For Nevada, the only ones he had found were that it's illegal to ride a camel on the freeway, and a man cannot buy drinks for more than 3 people at a bar. Oh, man. There go my plans at World Domination. xp
Oh, how good those pancakes were. Talk like Yoda I am. sweatdrop I ate so fast, the waitress before seeing my plate, actually asked to see if she had even gotten me my food yet. I was truly honored.
Afterwards, we went to this Asian cafe, called Tapioca Express. There's these drinks called Boba, which is like a smoothie, with these chewy Tapioca Pearls. I'm not too fond of the pearls, but the smoothies were awesome.
When we got back, I decided to go on Gaia, which is what I'm doing now, and all was well, until Kalen's sister Elaina, presented us with her homework problems. Katrina, being the goody-goody she is, tried to solve it, but she got real mad when I corrected her answers.
I'm tired, so I'm heading home. Here's your quote:
"We must be grateful for all the little things in life- walking, talking, moving, loving. Don't give up, and you have a chance." - Kirk Douglas.
