Taran's POV
Taran was at first quite shocked when n** pronounced him as being Lofwyr. He would never pretend such a blasphemous thing!

But he couldn't help but smile when Lofwyr's spirit form came and stood beside him, to answer his call, and n** was corrected. He still cringed inside, knowing that his secret (at least one of them) was now coming undone, and that the other might, too.

He waited while n** and Lofwyr spoke. But when Lofwyr said that he was here because of Taran, Taran turned to face him and bowed.

"I apologize, my Lord. But it has been quite a long time since I have last spoken with you, and I did not know at first that I was followed." He smiled, as he rose from his bow, and looked over at n** when he said, "Figures it would be another dragoon who follows me."

Looking back at Lofwyr's spirit, Taran continued.

"It seems the Renstok are causing trouble. It would not matter, except they took the dragon Nogard, and said that taking her would please their gods. They seemed to mention, also, that there was another they were looking for." He paused. "Dragon, the Blue Princess, was left unharmed, and they had no interest in her."

Taran's eyes were flashing, his anger almost as high as before. "Nogard, in the past, was evil. But she has been turned good. I just can not abide a race like the Renstok trying to use a dragon as some kind of sacrifice." He paused, then bowed again.

"I am asking permission to rescue the dragon Nogard, my Lord." Taran said, quite formally. He felt mildly awkward doing so in front of n**, but he wasn't really bothered by it. She knew only how important it was for a dragoon to be available when his/her dragon needed him/her, and not what it meant to be a dragoon to a dragon god. His obligations were higher.

He wanted to make this quick, since the others might soon notice their absence. He wanted a guarantee of n**'s silence on this, if that was possible at this point. Taran doubted it, though.
