I am serious, the tittle says it all " The Best Concert Ever" was last night Sunday, November 20, 2005. It was the 'Masters of Horror Tour' featuring BobaFlex, 10 Years, with special guest Seven Dust, and the #1 band of all: MudVayne!!!!
Okay, so my mom works at the hotel part of the Oasis where this concert was. We didn't think I was going to get to get in free, so I got one of those Frequent Rocker Line-Skipper Tickets from a local radio station. Well.....I pretty much wasted $30 because I got in free with my friend way befor the line-skippers did!!!
My mom, her friend Kathy, and Kathy's son TJ, and I were just standing inside out of the cold, when the main boss of the Oasis came and asked mom and Kathy to do the ID check and ticket tear at the door. This was at 3:30ish and the concert didn't start until 6:00pm.
We were just standing there talking when the manager of Mudvayne came up to us and chatted with us for awhile ( which almost gave me a heart attack redface ) He left for a bit and when he came back into the lobby, we noticed four chairs and a table sitting there that wasnt there earlier. (it's about 4:00pm) the manager came over to us and said, " Hurry up and get into the line." We were like o.O durrrr?? And the from nowhere, Mudvayne sat in those seats. we were in the head of the line of the Meet-And-Greet of MudVayne!!!!!
My friend got his Atreyu shirt signed, while I was talking to the bassist.((@o@)) We got to shake their ******** hands! ( the sign said don't put hands on table and no pictures) Kathy saw that I didn't get an autograph, so she grabbed an alcohol band(permitting drinks) and jumped back in and got it signed for me. We also saw the manager giving out the new "Masters of Horror" album, which hasn't been released yet^.^ I saw a gap in the line, jumped in and got one and went back up there to get it signed. Chad ( the singer) said, " Hey, weren't you just up here? You were like the first one." (heehee twisted ) I told him, " Yep, that was me. I didn't have anything for you to sign, and LIKE HELL am I leaving with out it!" He laughed and said, " Ya know, I would have done the same thing if I were you, ******** yeah!"
After we got the pat-down by the security, TJ and I went on into the main room and got front stage against the guard rail, were we met some friends. That's when the party started!! I ended up getting a guitar pick from the lead guitarist of 10 Years, AND from SevenDust along with their bassist's too!!!
At about 12:00am, during the last song of the night, my mom popped up on the side stage and signaled for me to come around to the side. We went backstage to their dressing room!!!!!!!! I about ******** died! I talcked to Lil' John of SevenDust and Chad of MudVayne again!! I got a kick-a** T-Shirt.
I slept from the hotel all the way home with my suveniers. I will never, EVER forget that night. I still have the "M" on my hand for "Minor" < like that stopped me from taking a few drinks! lmao.
Well, I'm sorry if you thought I was babbling on forever. I am an ADHD child that had the most fun time in her life. I just wanted to share that with anyone who wanted to know about it ^.^

Today I went with my mom and step-dad to Fantastic Caverns. That is the first of only a few drive-in caves in the world, AND the only one in North America!
It's really cool. After purchasing a ticket, you wait for a particular tour docking, then take a seat on a long "wagon" thing, pulled by a jeep/four-wheeler. The guide takes you throught-out the entire cave, stopping to show you special things inside and some cool demonstrations. And a cool thing is that you can take your camera and/or video recorder with you.
This was my dad's first time and he thought it was cool. This was my fourth time going. I'm pretty lucky to live only about 10-15 miles away ^.^ Well, that was our first family outing in awhile and I thought it was worth sharing it with anyone interested in a peice of Missouri's sites and landmarks 3nodding

Seether Rocked my Socks Off!!! |

On Thursday, me and my friend Renee went to see the band Seether at a downtown club. We got there about an hour early to get in quicker. Unfortunatly, they devided up the lines: 1 was 21 & up, the other was minors. The adults got in before us! T.T
When we finally got in, I was searched of course. When I turned to talk to Renee, she was gone. Apparently she forgot the no safety pin rules. She had over 30! Once she finished getting through security, it was off to party.
Renee was so skinny, she weasled her way to the front center with the VIPs who won free tickets. We hang out through the whole concert with them. They got free bottle water whenever and had their own Guard, so that was a cool idea on my behalf.
In the end, I got Shaun Morgan's guitar pick!!! Then I hung out with the lead singer of Presence, a well-known band that opened. I bought a T-shirt, went back to Renee's house, crashed there, went home the next day, and turned around to go shopping at the mall with my mother!!!!!
Aww, the life of a 16-year-old, female goth in middle of summer vaction!

I have come to realize that my friends and I are crazy. I am crazy because of my very unusual sence of humor, as well as the fact that I'm random. Now for my friends. One of my friends actually breaks into commercials in the middle of a conversation. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! My other friend worships OTEP way too much! She makes fake murder scenes in her free time! Crazy...yes, but I love her anyways! As a matter-o-fact, I probably wouldn't hang with them if they weren't crazy. That's because nobody in their right mind would hang out with me! blaugh

Why do we lable one another? Is it a need or just a conpolsive thing that we can't help? I wonder who started these "Lables" anyways? People now have a scar in their minds. They are lables. If someone was to lable me, they should lable me "goth". See, I lable, and I can't help it.
