Summer and Autumn

Summer.
Her radiant beauty exudes warmth to everyone.
Her bare feet sweep over green grass,
and her slender arms reach toward the blue sky.
Her days are spent on the beach,
and exploring the country.
Her smile is like and air conditioner blasting on high,
and ice cream trucks playing off tune jingles.
Her golden curls fly across the sky,
while her eyes watch all the joy of the time.
But as the months pass,
and the lady Summer tires,
it comes time for change.
Master Autumn comes,
and with a soft kiss of whispering winds,
bids the lady her reprieve.
With his overcoat of rust colored leaves,
and his voice that rings of the harvest,
he gladly takes over for the lady,
so that she might rest once more.
