before i go on, 1 thing i want to mention to any of my friends is does anyone want to have a character based on them? "Adelaide" is based on someone.
ch 3-
I would take the pocketknife out of my pocket every morning fot the first month or so that I had it, but after awhile, I just couldn't put it away. I kept it in my pocket all the time. It would be with me where ever I was. I would bring it to school, and keep it in my pocket; I brought it to dance and kept it in my bag; where ever I was, it was there.
One morning in December, I got a phone call.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Annie?" a voice said.
"Yeah," I answered. "Who is this?"
"Chris,"
"Oh my god! Hey!" I replied.
Chris is my cousin. His sister, Rose, died three years ago from a hit-and-run. Today, we talked about her for a long time, an hour and a half and it made me cry. Alot.
I thought about the day that it happened. September 18th, 2001. I thought about how I had been walking with her when she got hit. I thought about her funeral, her grave. But most of all, I thought about how I'm still alive.
I couldn't take it. I decided to do something new this time. I pulled up my sleeve, and took out my pocketknife. Is this why Ryan gave me this? I raised it, and struck.
