She was born in 1900, along with her twin brother Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi looks just like her, except with dark eyes instead of golden ones. They are both full blood vampires, with special powers. Kame can read minds, and is known as a "healer". She has the power to heal anybody, no matter how serious the wound. All she has to do is put her hand over the wound and concentrate on her healing power, and the wound is gone. Kiyoshi has the power to compel people and animals. Kame has been on the run from her brother since 1910, when she turned her cat (named Bat) into a vampire. Kiyoshi tried to compel Bat to kill her for this, but instead the cat fed her his blood which in turn morphed her into a vampirecat, infuriating her brother even more. The Tanaka family has been known as one of the most powerful vampire families of all time. Kiyoshi is after her to restore their family name as the best, because he believes she soiled it by bringing an animal into their lifestyle who turned her and soiled the family name. Her life is now endangered by her twin brother, who used to be her best friend. Now she is on the run, and alone.
