Joan was inspired to raise dragons after Meeting Miss Shade. She greatly admires her and after some time, with help from Miss Shade she began to raise dragons. Currently these are the dragons she has:

info on Yekane: Ye, is the name for the head on left, and on the right is Kane. They are Joan's first dragon she raised all on her own without getting help from Miss Shade.
Razuul:
A younger male dragon who is constantly trying to get dominance over Yekane. Razuul is also over affectionate with Joan and sometimes injures Joan accidentally when nuzzling her.Female Adults
Ethora:
Ethora is one of Joan's accidental dragons. For a long time she just through he was a large lizard she found. She had to be told that he was a dragon. Joan is not afraid to admit that even if she has sight, she still probably would have thought he was just a lizard.Orianna:
The daughter of Kojak and Arellia-two dragons that once served Joan's mistress Lady Kazi. Orianna is very gentle and kind, and probably Joan's favorite dragon.Esmine:
Esmine just sort of showed up one day and began watching after all the young hatchlings, and other dragons Joan had around her. Esmine is very old, and very wise. Joan seeks her out for guidance when it comes to raising the other dragons.Listene:
Short tempered and a selfish this is one of Joan's more stubborn dragons. Joan struggles constantly with trying to create a happy atmosphere for this dragon who often shows Joan little kindness.Alova:
Alova is one of the older dragons. She tends to be annoyed by most humans though she gets along well with Joan, but she finds Joan to be more endearing than most humans. The fact Joan was once a prisoner herself helped gain Alova's trust.Mazina:
Kin to Arellia, Mazina is also able to communicate to Joan telepathically. Mazina can store air in her body, and act as a submarine-and being only a fish eater she has willingly carried humans below the watery depths-under Joan's guidance of course.Arbur:
Arbur doesn't actually live with Joan's other dragons preferring hot weather to tame. Arbur is very haughty, and happenst to be Yekane's mate.
