covering his ears tightly the sound was so loud for him it sent kadar in to a daze the officer pulled the trigger before the infected finished his warning scream the gun shot echoed through the air kadar slowly came back to his senses he sat up and listened every thing seemed to start to stir the air was very uneasy kadar gulped . He closed his eyes and listened he heard the mothers sobs he quickly turned around and saw that the mother of the children was shaking profusely he stood up and saw the mother fall to her back she was convulsing badly he looked around all of the panic stricken people were going in to the spasms as well kadar slowly backed up the bodies of the people under the blanket were gone kadar looked around in a panic and took a deep breath “calm down kadar don’t let any thing go to your head……” he gulped as he turned around “now is defiantly not the time for a screw up” he drew a deep breath of the icy air and closed his eyes he heard running and quiet snarls of the infected he pinpointed the sound and opened his eyes he saw the infected running to them and saw the mother flopping on the ground “dear god its just a distraction” kadar backed away slowly the mother screamed and sat up blood pooling out of her lips she snarled as an officer held his gun up at her she met his eyes with her glossy red eyes her icy stair made the officer shake she snarled at him and lunged off the ground no one was prepared for the onslaught about to come she screamed and attacked the officer brutally ripping at him he was un able to get a clear shot on the woman she smashed both of her fists down on the mans chest causing him to cough up blood he let out a blood curdling scream as the woman continued to hit him she screamed after she pounded his chest a final time she reached forward and dug her claws in to the mans shoulders piercing his armor she screamed like a banshee shaking her head wildly spraying her bloody spit all over the frozen officers they watched hopelessly in shock as she bit in to his neck she pulled back the flesh hanging from her teeth the runners let out a splitting scream the officers huddled back to back guns in full view kadar watched in shock as the officers getting picked off like flies he remembered the jeep and turned to it he felt as though he was being watched from the tree line he ran for the jeep and got in quickly crawling to the drivers seat he sat in and lost state but took in a couple of deep breaths and closed his eyes “so much death and carnage” he said calmly as he closed his eyes “why….why is god looking down upon us at such a time” he truly dwelled upon his thought his arm fell to his side and hit something cold kadar felt a surge of fear flow through him his eyes widened and he slowly turned his head and look at where his hand was he sighed and picked up a odd shape he felt it and realized that it was a gas mask his forehead creased in though ‘the officers wore these and didn’t get weird like those things hmmmm….should I ware it too’ he shrugged as his instincts told him to once it was on he tightened the straps on it and looked around he saw perfectly the mask had a large face plate the two black canisters on the front sides were surprisingly light “they never seem to fail me” he chuckled to him self and he had the sudden urge to look down at the seat again “what now” he did as his instincts told him and his eyes went to the gun it was a 50-calibure DESERTEAGLE magnum he gasped “that things enough to bring down a damn elephant what the hell will I need that for” he herd rustling out side of the jeep and opened the door and slowly leaned out he looked up at an infected that was on top of the jeep he made eye contact with kadar it startled him and he fell out of the jeep and fell on his back he shuffled back with his hand still clutching the gun the infected man ungracefully crawled off of the jeep and fell face first to the ground kadar cringed at the sound ‘get up now get to the jeep and close the door’ he felt his instincts say he rushed to the jeep and practically threw him self in slamming the door behind him he waited for the infected to appear at the window but I never did ‘don’t be played a fool kadar its still around here he’s waiting for you just stay on top and be alert’ he listened to every noise and processed it twice or more sitting and waiting for the dammed devil to come he had a twisted smile playing at the corners of his lips he was ready or it. Under the jeep the infected dragged him self across the ground silently he reached the under the front bottom of the jeep ‘ kadar there smarter then they appear study them you must stay vigilant and DON’T assume any thing’ he nodded to him self “understood.” under the jeep the infected was groveling he look around and a broken moan escaped from his throat he came to a conclusion and reached in front of him grabbing a broken sharp edged rock he laid his head on the asphalt and raised the rock as high as he could under the bottom of the jeep and smashed it down on his jaw he felt nothing he raised it again and smashed it down sloppily cutting his jaw apart the forth time he missed his jaw and lodged the rock in to his neck he growled angrily and dug his fingers into the messily made fracture in his jaw and slowly started to pull it off he gave up half way his jaw dangling he reached down and pulled an intestine out of his belly. The infected for got what he was doing half way and crawled out from the under jeep he stumbled forward and scraping his jaw across the ground he moaned ‘get ready kadar remember your training keep calm don’t lose your cool this time’ kadar growled at the reminder “I’ve told you NEVER to bring that up again” he loosened his muscles and took a deep breath the infected crawled a little further and faced the jeep he pulled back on his legs and shot his body forward what was left of his jaw connected with the jeeps windshield it cracked kadar looked at the infected wide eyed ‘what are you doing you idiot shoot the demon damnit shoot it you’re a cold blooded killer.…NOW KILL’
