Lies
This is actually the first of the three poems, but I'm calling it the third because this was the order in which the poem was finalized. ~Lies~ When you lie, How do you feel? Ecstatic, numb, Perfect, dumb? Do you feel sorry, do you feel glad, That the one you lied to, you made feel sad?
But who can say that they are sad? They could be mad. Sad, mad, disappointed, bitter? Panic, shock, hate, Does it all matter? How every time you lie, your lies got fatter?
Simple words can make a difference, Whether or not you can see them. Regardless, it is pointless to think, That some lies make the bad things better.
Speak the truth, scream how you feel. Don’t hide your emotion and thoughts behind cold, hard steel. Your mind, your mouth, your heart, What comes out, only they can decide, If this lie can liven or deaden you or your friends inside.

Death
This is the second of the three poems that were written in English class. ~Death~
The big & black, The cold & dark, Who knows what it’s like in the void, Of the infinite depths of death?
Do you feel pain, do you feel hunger? Do you feel glad, or do you feel sad, Do you begin to hate, or do you get mad, At those who still live, those who breathe, The ones who you left behind when you took your last breath?
Just accept it, just let it go. Eternal life is just a joke, so Stop trying, stop hoping, it’s pointless, When you know it’s inevitable.
But don’t feel pain, because those who live feel sorrow, The fact that you’ve died will haunt them every morrow, They miss their friend, they miss their love. Father, mother, Sister, brother, All your friends, Your entire family.
Do not weep, do not grieve. You will see them again one day. When the priest said, “Until death do you part.” That so much was a lie. Death can’t take, nor can he steal, What’s left of you, what’s left of your friends, In each & every heart.

Secrets
This is one of the 3 poems that my friend and I wrote in English class. I did most of the work though... >.> ~Secrets~
What is a secret? I cannot tell. You may not buy, nor will I sell. This secret is mine until, Death can set me free, for My secret shall and will die with me.
But all secrets always end being revealed. You can’t stop it, nor can I, but Still, I can at least try. It’s embarrassing, I’ll admit, But I’ll also admit that if kept hid, The weight of this secret could crush me dead.
Did I also say, I had a dream, In which you learned my secret, I was scared, and you were surprised, I hid my face, I hid my shame, but there Was only me to blame.
I let a friend, share with me, My own possessions, in which I hid, My secret from the world. Unknowingly I Sent these away, and in them you Found the truth you did not know about me.
But this dream, I don’t regret. How when you learned this secret, I won’t forget, In my heart, it felt so much better, for The secrets weight had been lifted, through My face was redder.
Taking my dream to heart, I tell you now, My secret you will share with me, but no one Else may learn the secret I clue to you, The truth kept hidden inside of me.
