Armanus
An Armanus, or an Armanus Weapon, is a Weapon created using advanced, high-level Alchemy in combination with some other Magic. Initially, Armani take the shape of a perfect Sphere of Shimmering, Liquid Metal. These Spheres react to touch and, upon coming into physical contact with a being of Human-level awareness and intellect, immediately take the shape of a Weapon that suits the user best in all ways: Physically, Mentally, Spiritually, etc.. Once the form of the Weapon is Chosen, it is locked and will not return to its Orb Form. These Weapons solidify their form based on the Core of the User's Essence, which can never truly be altered: the traits which they are born with, and can never fade or be removed without destroying the being's Soul. Beings who are exceedingly immature, or do not truly know themselves, however, will not be able to Wield and Armanus Weapon, as it will not shift from its Orb Form for them.
As the form of an Armanus Weapon can vary indefinitely based on the user, they are very different from one another. They do however, share a set of common, innate traits. Armani will never Dull (If in the form of an Edged Weapon), or break, and their Sharpness is such that it can cut through Armor, and Flesh (Even that of a Troll) without massive exertion, although Wood and Stone pose a greater Challenge. Some Armani, however, possess an even sharper edge. In addition, they are shielded from all but the most powerful of Spells. They may be summoned from any place at the call of their User, and, if the User so chooses, may even reside within a separate Plane of reality altogether, from which they can be called. This means that, should the Master wish it, the Weapon would occupy no space within the Physical Plane whatsoever. Evidently, the Armani also have the advantage of being perfectly suited to each individual Warrior who wields them. This means that the Master would be able to wield the Armanus Weapon as though it were simply an additional limb or other extension of their own body. This also means that the Weapon will not function properly in the hands of another: the enchantments and abilities Unique to that specific Armanus will not apply when used by any other being, although beings who are similar to the original Armanus Master may be able to wield it more efficiently. The more similar to the original Armanus Master the user is, the more of the Weapon's abilities they will be able to tap into. Armani, especially the Crystalline Runes upon them, are also able to store Energy from the Wielder, which can be called upon whenever necessary. Although their Physical Forms seem to be limitless, all Armanus Weapons also seem to share a somewhat similar appearance, being primarily of a Metallic Silver Coloration, and adorned with Crystalline Runes inscribed upon them in one uniform Color throughout the Weapon, although the Color and the Language of the Runes themselves varies between Armani. The Glowing of these Crystalline Runes signifies that the Armanus Weapon has been activated, which tends to occur along with the Wielder's subconscious thought during intense combat.
