Enter ye and read my tail, but forth with beware
Stronger men have died for causes not so fair
Things written ere are not for mortal mind or heart
Things that tore a dragon's soul apart...
To say nothing of my wrath when I find
The scent on these pages left behind
Profile

Truename: Kisandihadretlia Usv Kaegro Kaesin, གྷ
Titles: Matron Nightwalker, Warlord (Fifteenth House), Fatekeeper (Cerberus of dragons)
Aliases: Dragon, Mistress, DM, Dame, Dame Madam, Kisan, Kisa, Victoria, Scarlet, Violet, Graysen, Queen of Spades, occasionally Kisandi ( "Kisandi is my sister/mother's name, not mine." )
Notes: Kisa goes by many aliases, often tying each alias in with a specific 'body' or 'appearance' to create an illusion of being multiple people. The classic example of this is her being both the Head of House of Nightwalker Estate (her estate in Hell) and the House Warlord at the same time, a deception of multiple persons that has gone on nearly undetected for some two to three thousand years. The deception falls apart a bit in the Mortal Realms, where she occasionally morphs back and forth from one to the other, usually over multiple days and through several 'intermediary' forms that bear their own aliases. So far no-one has categorically sat down and tracked her various forms and travels to unravel the riddle of who, truly, she is.
This also makes it very difficult for anyone to establish her true name, which is one of her main weaknesses as a character. So far, her writer OOC only knows of three characters (not played by her) on Gaia that know DM's full true name. One of which, sadly, would be more than willing to spill the beans....if said person could be found, that is.

Appearance: Kisa takes on many appearances, often developing brand-new bodies and appearances on the spot. To her, fleshcrafting is an art, and one she takes great pride in. Some people dislike wearing the same set of clothing twice, the Dame dislikes appearing in the same body twice.
Gender: Female, almost always. If not female, then neuter; the Dame RARELY takes male forms. Or at least…is rarely known to do so.
Age: Usually, she takes on a 'timeless' appearance, or somewhere between early twenties to late thirties. True age is difficult to establish for her. She divides herself into multiple entities often, with a set of laws that dictate the circumstances of re-alignment into one being. Since each part of her, then, lives a separate life and has separate experiences, it could be said that she lives twice or even more in the same segment of time. Her earliest known appearance on Gaia was over five thousand years ago, but it is speculated she has lived for nearly thirty thousand 'extra' years since then.
The Law of Expansion states that whenever an alternate version of herself is uncovered in dimensional traveling, the alternate be offered the chance to but not forced to join the ‘collective’
The Law of Supersedence states that when two or more versions of Kisa are in disagreement or dispute, they are to be sectioned off from the collective and allowed to settle the dispute as they see fit. The victor is welcome to re-join the collective at any time.
The Law of Mutual Survival states that all domestic disputes will be put on hold for the duration of battle should anything threaten either instance of the Madam, and all instances of her will co-operate in the interests of preserving the whole.
The Law of Precedence states that even entities who are not naturally part of the Mistress may challenge her, and should they defeat her champion(s), they also are welcome to join the collective and thus become part of her or make her a part of them.
The Law of Enforced Adaptation says that unwilling entities that do not wish to join the collective may be copied from freely at the collective’s discretion.
* These laws are genetically and physically written into each body DM occupies, and are part of that body’s core functioning. Most bodies will spontaneously demass and rejoin the collective rather than allow the Five Laws to be tampered with.

Weight and Dimensions: Weight, and Mass with it, play an important part in the Madam's existence. If all her mass were pooled together, she would weigh in at approximately ten tons. However, 'balancing' that mass between multiple dimensions is essential, and thus she has a soft limit of never gathering more than half her mass in one place at one time, thus limiting her at approximately five tons for any given dimension at any given time. This may be spread out across multiple bodies, or even left 'unattended' as sensory elements, like spies or listening devices, 'anchors' to which she can return unexpectedly in times of need or duress, or even booby traps, as in the case of her foldspace temporary homes. She carries within herself multiple (usually three) constantly-open dimensional portals, as part of her natural biology, through which she transfers mass back and forth.
Imagery: Kisa DOES have a few 'set' bodies that she returns to often, like a pair of comfortable shoes. They are as follows:
Red Dragon, Styx Dragon, Warlord (Sometimes without wings), Three-headed Hydra (rarely), and literally dozens of 'human' forms that the writer usually leaves to the account avatar to picture.
This is a good look for her.
*Notes on her Biology*
*She often has semi-metallic bones, both as a way to subtly store extra mass and weight for future use, and because of their toughness and difficulty to fracture. She likes rough play!
~This tends to make her heavier than she looks, and she must be careful what chairs and couches she sits on lest her weight break them.
*Her bodies most often have scissor joints, as opposed to hinge joints. The difference may be subtle, but it works out in leverage; supernatural strength is nothing compared to simply having a more mechanically efficient body plan.
*Her eyes are always the same, from body to body: Red when content, violet when angry, diamond shaped pupils, no whites. Often the surface of her eyes is non-reflective, resulting in an uncanny 'not really there' effect. Equally often, her eyes glow faintly, almost like candle flames are hidden behind her pupils. This is usually only visible in the dark.
~The inability to change her eyes naturally seems to be a restriction on her shape shifting ability, but the handicap does not effect her much. When she needs a disguise, she simply wears contact lenses, or covers her eyes with glasses or a mask.
*Her skin has a velvet-like texture. Usually, even when not in a scaled form, she leaves 'seedling' scales in her skin, tiny little conglomerates of sillicate that result in a slightly rough texture when her skin is rubbed against the grain. Hence, velvety.
*Most of her 'brain activity' is actually done by her spinal cord. No matter how hard you whack her in the head, you're not going to knock her out.
~Cutting her in half via the midsection often results in duplication, since each half of the spinal cord will regenerate the missing pieces. They may later battle for Supersedence, but not until all common opponents are eliminated.
*When she creates a 'body' to inhabit, she doesn't use half measures. Everything about that body is customized to create an appearance. From morphology, to scent, to aura, to whether she moves with grace or delicacy or economy, is custom-tailored to that exact appearance.

👹

Species: Mistress is a breed of demon. Her full racial profile, though, is not quite so simple. Ethnically, she identifies herself as a form of dragon, and retains many of their behavior qualities (Sleeping on a pile of coins being foremost). Additionally, she claims to have once been human, and to be able to remember that time, although faintly. Some of her actions seem to supplement this claim, and it may have been noticed that she tries to avoid maiming or killing most pure humans. Half-breeds, though, are a frequent choice of punching bag or chew toy.
Notes: She uses the term 'Warlord' as a racial appellation, but it is not; it is a self-given honorary title. In truth, her specific denomination within the demonic family tree is as a succubus. She seems, however, not to require being personally involved in sexual activity to harvest energy from it, and 'feeds' quite plentifully on ambient energies from those around her. Additionally, she consumes physical food often, and has been known to split the occasional atom in a dimensionfolded organi-magnetic particle splitter that feeds radiation energy directly into her body through one of her internal dimensional portals. She most often does this when she needs fast energy of many types, as in right before or during the early stags of a major battle.
Powers: The Dame in all her incarnations has the same power set. However, how she utilizes those powers depend on what appearance she wants to promote.
Kisan's main ability is a form of highly advanced/potent telekinesis. She was taught it not as a straightforward mental discipline, but as the ability to change her perceptions of the world. The catch being, the perception she wishes to change must be a full and complete one. The name for it that she knows her ability by is 'Lox Kix,', or The Shift. The standard example is that one must not merely substitute red skin for orange one when changing an orange into an apple, but must include all ten senses, namely: weight, texture, scent, taste, pliability, aura, growth, chemical, biological, and future. One must know and understand intrinsically what it is that makes an apple and apple, to the greatest detail of detail imaginable. After all, orange trees do not grow from apple seeds.
In the vein of that, she has spent much of her five (or thirty, depending on your counting method) thousand years of life doing extensive research on basically every subject imaginable. From physics, chemistry, biology, etc all the way up to cultural, religious, and arcane. One would expect her to be a formidable wizardess, but it seems her 'reality-shift' ability precludes all forms of magic; she actually does not use a single trace of mana and her own natural mana pool has been left untouched for her entire life.
*Through Lox Kix, she can also 'sense' or 'see' what mass and matter is around her, in all directions, for a limited distance (usually about twenty yards, to fifty in whatever direction she focuses that ability in). This makes her:
~ Immune to illusion spells and,
~ She can see through walls/cloth/flesh/etc. Being unable to interact with magic, though, magical items are often completely invisible to her.
*She can shape-shift without limitations except for mass use and biological dependency. Through that shapeshifting ability, she can close any and all wounds, or even stop blood from flowing through an injury she leaves open. She has been known to self-dissect for entertainment or as a parlor trick.
*In dragon forms, she often spits an astonishing variety of chemicals, managing to replicate all and then some of the traditional magical draconian breath attacks. From raw elements like fire and ice to complex effects like acid and sedative, she has the full palette. As said before, she can do this in any form...but usually, reserves breath attacks for when she looks like a dragon, to fit with the imagery.
She can also secrete those same chemicals through her skin, wreathing herself in fire, draping herself in ice, etc.
*She figured out long ago how to polarize her sub-atomic structure (a required part of her natural biological portals), and from that, figured out two things: Portal making, and electrical conduction. She can gather static electricity, and fling it out of her body as lightening. Her aim is not always the best, but with enough voltage, it falls under the horse-shoes and hand-grenades principle of close is good enough. She can also use lightening, in limited effect, as a defense against holy energies, or void attacks.
*Her portal-making skills are of surprising tactical use to her. She will dimension-step from one side of the battlefield to the other, making a good estimation of her natural movement speed difficult. She will also open direct portals to elemental planes...she cannot cast a fireball spell, but opening a ten-foot-wide dimensional rip directly into the heart of a sun achieves much the same effect for her.
*Additionally, she will 'fold' space up, origami-style, to create temporary dwelling places for herself, or to pack a great deal of mass into a very small space, IE, a house cat that weighs two and a half tons and breaks the floor.
*She has the ability to control where in her body her 'internal portals' manifest; usually keeping one in her head, one in her chest, one in her lower gut. She can move them around, and often brings one to just below her skin level so she can reach through it to either fetch or store objects between her various bodies. She can also 'shift mass' while moving the portals, resulting in the laws of inertia behaving very oddly for her. If she removes mass from existence while it is moving, for example, if she falls and demasses herself, that mass retains the inertial forces until summoned again. Thus, being punched by her may either have no effect whatsoever, or pack a hell of a wallop way out of proportion to her apparent size.
*An interesting side effect of her shape-shifting and lightening manipulation: She can create biological electromagnets out of her own flesh. She usually keeps a few small ones on hand in her thorax somewhere, to act as metal detectors, although her Lox Kix 'mattersense' ability can pick up 99% of everything around her already. Electromagnetic detectors, though, serve as a sort of 'warning device', since they can detect all metallic items, even if their magic makes them invisible to her other senses. Thus, although she cannot detect magic itself save by a vague pins-and-needles sensation, she can often tell if a person has magic around them.
*She can move air, water, and lightening, meaning she can create storms.
*She can move earth and fire, creating volcanoes.
*She can transmute one element into another, creating almost any non-magical thing she pleases. Large differences in density mean the shift is more difficult and time-consuming, but she has been known to transmute air into gold (Very small amounts of gold) as a parlor trick. A much easier and more tactically applicable shift is to turn rocks into lead, lead into plutonium, and from thence, large boom occurs.
*She also can use the formula backwards, lowering density to increase size. Often a mere whisper of mass will be used to create a human-sized body weighing a few ounces, and then this body is 'rooted' through tendrils in the feet to a wall or ceiling. Cloth and hair are stiffened to point towards the feet at all times and animated with Lox Kix for an imitation of natural movement, creating a very convincing illusion of gravity reversing or distorting itself around her. While of very little tactical use itself, she is fond of using it as part of a psychological warfare campaign, to convince an opponent that her range of powers is greater than it actually is.
*There is, of course more: having the ability to change, if not the laws of physics, the way materials interact with those laws, the Dame's Lox Kix-based powers are mostly limited only by how much effort she is willing to expend, and how creative she feels at the moment. This gives her a wide range of 'levels', ranging from barely human on a blah day to truly god-like when she's running on a good case of motivation and inspiration.
Other Powers:
The Dame also once courted Falzure, the Lich Dragon, one of the aspects of Death. So ardently, in fact, that she won a certain amount of favor from him. She now carries his mark across her shoulders or wings, and a half-dozen of his lesser aspects (wraiths) accompany her at various times. They can be summoned to a specific location by snapping her fingers, and instructed to perform simple tasks with varying levels of success…primarily, though, their only functional use is to devour the souls of the living.
*Additionally, she can occasionally request Falzure himself to release a soul already collected, thus enabling the resurrection of persons that normally would be outside of that ability.
*Through her connection to her wraiths, she can glimpse the ‘fate’ of living souls as dim, thread-like lines in the web of reality, and follow them forwards and backwards through time. Interpreting the information in this web, though, has proven to be difficult for her, as time viewed in this way is highly subjective, IE, the web changes completely when she follows a different thread through it. At most, she can only use this to give herself a heads-up about what past events (assuming she can identify them properly) an individual person thought was important or had great influence on their life.
~At one time, many many years ago, Kisan aspired to be one of the blood-gods in vampiric legends. This path proved ultimately to be a dead end for her, but she may still occasionally display remnants of those powers.
~ Direct sunlight no longer injures her, but she tends to avoid it unless in a form with protective scales.
*The Dame has, in her larger or space-folded forms, an extremely powerful and loud voice, which she is not above using as a weapon in and of itself. She can ‘sing’ notes that will shatter bone or metal, boil blood, and splinter wood. Given a physical sample of the precise material to target, she can calculate the specific resonance of one individuals genetic code, and correspondingly fine-tune her sonics to only disrupt that one individual’s body…however, she cannot similarly tune herself to more than one person selectively without an extremely broad common denominator, like race.
Kisa has placed a number of 'anchor' points, lithified remains of previous bodies, in various elemental planes. By selectively re-activating these bodies and connecting them to her internal portal network, she can use the bleed-through of elemental energy for basic non-magical uses, IE, ice to cool drinks, etc. This is another favorite tactic by which she mimics having magical abilities of her own through nonmagic means.
Racial Capabilities: The Mistress has few of the traditional demonic 'abilities', most of the ones she DOES have being superseded by her other powers and therefore almost useless unless some kind of bind has been placed on her to eliminate those other powers. The ones she DOES have are:
*Fearsome presence, which she usually cancels out with;
*Succubi charm.
*Immunity to fire/ice/acid.
*Healing/regeneration of severed body parts (including either her head, or the rest of her body, depending which part her 'life portal' went with when decapitation occurred)
*Moderately enhanced strength/speed/reaction time.
*Succubi energy drain and emotional telepathy abilities.
*Emotional telepathy works both ways, IE, she can both read another person’s emotions, and insert her own in their place. It also enables other people to read her emotions, but precise thoughts are usually blocked off.
~As stated before, she does not use magic, so all inherently magical demonic abilities are completely closed off to her.
~An interesting note: She seems to have a bad reaction of some sort to gold, possibly taking root in her demonic energies somewhere.
Skills: Over the past five to thirty (depending how you count) thousand years, the Dame has acquired skill sets in an extraordinarily diverse array of subjects. Her primary areas of experience and expertise are in the topics of:
Arcane knowledge: Knowledge of lost artifacts, of runic script, and of formal magic. The Dame cannot herself use magic, but keeps many magicians on her staff, and has familiarized herself with their spells. Sometimes she can recognize spells a person casts by what physical elements and components are used in the casting, also, she can read runic incantations (usually with very mixed results; her pronunciation of Runic is abysmal, and she has no ability to control her own mana)
۩ Architecture: The building of homes, both from physical materials and through folding space to create large spaces from small ones. Her primary area of expertise here is masonry, she often lives in caves dug out of solid rock or homes built out of large blocks of carefully fitted stone. Statuary and fountains are also favored subjects of study, and she enjoys touring displays of either. To her, stone-working is an art form and lifestyle together.
Astrology: This is more of a passing interest of hers, she is familiar with the astrological signs of both Eastern and Western culture, as well as Hellion, and their meanings. She may occasionally make sweeping generalizations about future or past events based on this information, but has no skill at fortune-telling.
Astronomy: The root source of her brief interest in astrology, astronomy, the studying of stars, holds great fascination for the Dame. One might think she would not concern herself with the concept of extraterrestrial life, but on the contrary: she is fascinated by the idea that life, in other places, may take different forms. She is insatiably curious about the stars and the possible resources and mysteries they hold, and has in fact dispatched a few bodies to traveling through space as frozen petrified husks propelled by her ability to transfer momentum from one body to another. Clearly, such a journey takes considerable time, and none of these endeavors have yielded any usable information. However, being a creature with all eternity ahead of herself, the Dame is in no hurry.
Bartending: Much of her life was spent as a bartender. Mixed drinks, or rare liquors: She has either made it, drank it, heard of it, or knows someone who has it. The exception here, being drinks of the newer vintage; much of her knowledge is old experience, and she has not kept up with newly developed drinks very well. Still, she is extremely difficult to stump behind the bar, and well-versed in all the aspects of liquor-handling, wine selection, and tricks that can be done with various bottles and shapes of glass. She also knows a massive variety of drinking games, including one of her own germination called ‘ten-shot’ that she adores playing. The basis of the game is, two players, with ten shots of various drinks before them. Each shot is fatal to at least one commonly known sentient race. Questions are exchanged, and if either player refuses to truthfully answer the question posed to them, they must consume one drink. The strategy here is twofold: selection of the questions one asks the Dame, and proper identification of the poured drinks to avoid ingesting a toxic one. If all ten questions are successfully asked of the Dame, she will presumably consume the shot fatal to herself.
Biology: Part of her fascination with shape shifting comes from the undying need to understand the basic premises of life itself, and the thousands of shapes and forms it comes in. She does many experiments in this vein, many dissections, much breeding and environmental adaptation studies as she pursues the hypothetical limits to which life can be tested. From microbes to macrosystems, she studies it all, with experiments running for thousands of years at a time. She herself has written numerous case studies, research papers, scientific journals…usually under the pen name of Dr. Graysen, and with no references to her own situation in life (or unlife, depending how one views residence in Hell). Although some inferences could possibly be made…a large number of her experiments are on how being immersed in Hellion atmospheres or elements effects or alters living creatures. Radiation-caused mutation in embryos is another recurring theme of hers, as are the various biological links to magical ability (eye color in humans, horn number and size in forgotten, skin texture among demons, etc…)
Chemistry: An intrinsic part of biology, much of her experience in chemistry is in organic chemistry. Although she has conducted significant amounts of study on medicinal chemistry, and weaponizable chemical compounds with a specialty towards pyrotechnics. Has not, nor is interested in, finding a cure for cancer…but solving the riddle of how water has the same chemical compound in both Hell and the Freerealms, but vastly different properties in each, ranks high on her to-do list.
Cooking: A sub-study of her bartending abilities, cross-referenced to chemistry. Specializes in meat dishes; indifferent to vegetables, although she does interesting things with fresh fruit. Terrible at wheat products, bread, pasta, cake etc…although she has some skill with pies and cookies. Said skill, however, comes from a perfectionist attitude, she does not enjoy eating such things herself. She also cooks non-human food, and can prepare non-food items in a food-like manner, IE, she can cook for races who eat things like music, incense, metal ores, etc. She does not cook in her own Hellion House except for rare feast occasions, and then always with the assistance of her (expensive) resident chef. Additionally, she has a secondary cook on staff who specializes in sushi, which she intends to learn to make ‘someday’.
ڛ Cultural studies: She studies many different cultures, in varying levels of detail. Draconic and Demonic culture are the two she knows best, but she also immerses herself in Drow and Human culture often (very rarely the Light Elves, though she has good relations with several nations of them). Of these, Human culture is by far the most widely varied, and the explorations of this make for good casual adventuring on her part. She also spent several centuries investigating Nagan culture, but grew bored of that pursuit.
Disguise: If necessity mothers invention, and practice makes perfect, it would certainly explain the Dame’s interest here. She is both highly inventive and highly skilled at crafting disguises, primarily for herself, but on occasion for others as well. She has disguised angels as demons while traveling in hell, mortals as undead, liches as cherubs, and herself as nearly everything that anyone ever saw, at least once. Her curiosity leads her into spying often; her pact to protect the Forgotten has resulted in the necessity of disguising herself to appear as multiple personas, often present in the same room at the same time, occasionally even at war with each other. She has collected a wardrobe of artifacts by which she can change her aura, a chest of potions by which she alters her scent, a library of books by which she researches the culture she plans to insert herself into; and often will use a previous disguise for a few days of on-site research work before fully crafting the new persona she will use. Additionally to using her skills at disguise as a functional tool in warfare and investigation, she will make a game out of seeing how many ‘clues’ she can drop before a mystified person will recognize her, or even realize that something is afoot. In that respect, as a shape shifter, she is not terribly uncommon. Although she does often restrain herself from using it to play pranks on the unsuspecting…she considers such frivolity unsporting, given consideration of her level of skill. In her own words, in order to use her skills to prank someone, the person must ‘really have it coming’.
Doctoring: Long ago, in Living River, her first vocation in life was as a doctor and herbologist. She was also, through her early bartending career, called upon several times to be a midwife (this inspite of her currently being a vampire, which NEVER ceases to amaze her…). Her interest in biology has led her to experience in surgery and a knowledge of advanced anatomy, and her interest in chemistry has led her to be able to synthesize more advanced medications than just her knowledge of herbs alone. She is a passable medical examiner and repairs-person, although she has little skill with diseases beyond what she has had personal experience with. Still, a long shot from a true doctor…but she can set broken bones, and stop blood running from a wound, and poultice burns and bruises.
Fencing: A long time ago, her favored weapon was the sword. That has since changed, but she can passably defend herself with such a weapon when all other avenues are closed off. Most of her knowledge now, though, is towards flashy and showy moves that are more intimidating than effective. Given a choice between a sword and bare hands, unless the sword has some rare property that is intrinsically valuable to her (like Hau Ferddas or Yamta), she will discard the weapon and brawl with bare fists.
Flight: She ADORES flying, and will take to the air by any means possible as a means of travel, of artistic expression, as an escapism tactic (since narcotics don’t work very well on her), and to conduct battle. She can dance while flying, and uses this ability to mask her storm-calling sometimes, she also conducts flying archery (although her skill with bow and arrows is merely average), sings, and throws lightening and fire or rips dimensional portals while flying. With the ability to demass at will, fear of falling does not register even in the realm of possible to her, and she can generally conduct almost any ability she can do on the ground, while flying, with only a slight disadvantage for very delicate or detailed tasks. She will also take riders from time to time, although the altitude and speed with which she flies often deters all but the most adventurous souls.
Genetic manipulation and selective breeding: Her long life, combined with her interest in biology, has given the Dame a unique chance to observe the multi-generational effects of directed breeding programs. Her favorite target for this ability so far has been the human race; however, this is almost more of a hobby than a true scientific endeavor. She has also taken to making use of genetics in her shape shifting ability, and can in fact replicate another person’s shape or non-magical racial abilities perfectly if given a sample (Even a single cell’s worth) of their DNA. Thanks to her many years of practice, she can ‘read’ genetic material almost as easily as an ordinary person can read a shopping list, even at a moderate physical distance from the material being sampled. In the same manner, she can construct new genetic codes on the spot, building them up into complete informational sets that can be packaged into embryonic cells and will, given time and a little nurturing, grow into novel and unique organisms.
History: Kisan does not know ‘history’ as such…although she has done a fair amount of research on historical figures of importance to her. Rather, though, the history she knows best is the history accounted for in her own personal memories. She has lived long, and remembers much of the prevailing times with an exceptional degree of accuracy. Granted, as regards her own exploits, there is a certain tendency towards exaggeration and a rose-tinted outlook on the results of her actions, but that is hardly surprising. Her accounts of other events, those surrounding her life but upon which she herself had little or no impact, are much more reliable. Her gregariousness and public accessibility make her an excellent target for historians and researchers, whom she is always agreeable towards. She loves to reminisce about past experiences, but has a private vow not to bore those around her by doing so without being expressly asked, so an interview with a historian is an event she always looks forward to with much anticipation.
Language proficiency: Madam is most fluent in Common (also known as English), Draconic, and Infernal. She is also widely versed at Undertongue, Latin, French, Celestial (also known as Angelic), and German. She has enough ability to communicate in modern Italian, Russian, Mandarin, and Spanish. She would also be considered exceptionally fluent at ‘body language’, although she is better at projecting it through her own body than reading it in others.
Metalsmithing: Kisa looks upon traditional metalworking as a meditative exercise, often forging various largely-ornamental bladed weapons as a form of busy-work to occupy idle hands while her mind works on another, seemingly unrelated problem. Fond of heat, working in front of or even inside a blast furnace suits her just fine, and metals are nearly infinitely re-usable, as she can simply add one just-finished project to the scrap bin and pull another one out to melt down and recycle. Lox Kix grants her access to a nearly infinite variety of possible materials to use, and helps her in separating core elements out of forged composite materials when she needs to. While she spent several centuries dedicated to the scientific study of metals, that interest has cooled somewhat with her increasing devotion to biology and genetics, and now her anvil and hearth are mostly for artistic expression and meditation only. Still; she hand-makes most of her own jewelry and any other metallic item she may have need for, and keeps the metal crafting skill within herself well-honed in case she should ever need it again for any reason.
Music: Although Kisan loves music as an art form, and plays piano as a form of self-expression, she is also intrigued by it as a study of mathematics and, not surprisingly, takes a scientific interest in it as a collection of harmonic sounds. Of course her greatest enjoyment comes from her discovery of the ways to use sound as a destructive force, but she does have an appreciation for music as an atmospheric element in interior decoration as well. She composes occasionally, but primarily her taste runs to the naturally-created random compositions from aeolian harps and water flutes.
Physics: Being intrinsically tied in to Lox Kix as well as a determining factor in dimensional traveling, biology, chemistry, and nearly everything else in which she has a true fascanation, the science of physics as how macro-objects and mico-objects work according to mathematical formulae is near and dear to Madam’s heart. Her Lox Kix abilities to sense and ‘see’ matter on the extraordinarily small scale, as well as to change the fundamental behaviors of it, have enabled her to conduct difficult and complex experiments with fascinating results in her laboratories; alas, coming by scientific results by methods that most deem indistinguishable from magic (Even though Lox Kix is fundamentally a non-magical discipline) has left her unable to publish these same results, and she is often frustrated by her inability to turn her highly-theoretical version of functioning physics into comprehensive universally applicable results. She is also somewhat baffled by light, as it is a physical effect which she is unable to distinguish with Lox Kix, and it has no physical substance for her to study, yet often produces physical changes, especially as regards to chemistry.
Piano: A great time ago, when she was still Kisandi, a very close and dear friend of hers taught her to play piano. This jump-started her interest in music, and she has played her piano (a custom-built work sheathed in pure ebony, but constructed primarily of oak and hickory for a richer tone) regularly, at least weekly, since those early days when she was merely a lowly bartender and herbal apothecary. Her favorite piano is currently housed out-of-doors, on one o the mountain peaks surrounding her home valley of Living River. It is protected by many layers of magical enchantments and wards that preserve the temperature and humidity of a dome around the piano itself, as well as preventing wildlife or weather from reaching the musical instrument. Despite her aversion to the feel of magic on her skin, she is glad that Living River has agreed to care for this prized treasure of hers, and plays for her adoptive family on almost as many afternoons as she does not. In her House in the Infernium, she also has a pipe organ, which she does not play nearly as often but enjoys the occasional use of nonetheless.
Religious dogma: It is almost required of a demon to have a familiarity with the various religions among mortals. Add this to the fact that Mistress personally knows several of the so-called ‘gods’ and has seen much of the history of the rest of them…while she has done little specific research into religious areas, the knowledge of such things is still one of her areas of notable experience.
Singing: This refers not to musical singing, which the Dame rarely does (although it is certainly within her powers to do so), but to her notes of destruction by which she uses sound waves, usually vocal but occasionally concussive blasts from her wings or feet, to destroy targeted physical materials or genetic code. Her ability with sonics is not particularly uncanny, nor is it perfectly unerring, and often she can be observed ‘tuning’ herself with a few short test notes before bursting into full ‘song’. The only unnatural skill involved with this ability is that she occasionally increases air density around herself to create a resonance effect that boosts her volume, and therefore the range and distance of her voice.
Unarmed combat: The Queen of Spades may fight with a scythe, and the Succubus may do fancy tricks with a whip, but the global favored weapon for the Dragon Mistress is her own bare hands. She finds bare-handed fighting, especially against a well-equipped, armed, and armored opponent much more mentally stimulating than merely pulling a pre-designed weapon out of one of her dimensional pockets and using it to level her opponent in a few seconds. Brawling and bar-style fighting suit her well, and she is particularly fond of being able to use whatever random object she lays her hands on as a weapon, preferably with minimal use of lox kix. While it would hardly exert her to turn a bottle of wine into an atomic bomb, she would much rather use the unaltered alcohol as a flammable material. Partly this stems from her love of experimentation…partly, from the idea that she is giving her opponent a ‘sporting chance’…but mostly, she finds battles where she relies too heavily on the use of her lox kix and over ‘supernatural’ abilities boring and dull.
Weapons crafting: Mistress may not favor traditional weapons in battle, but that does not lessen her enjoyment at making them. Most of her pleasure in this department comes from the design aspect; often only her most artistic overtures are ever fully developed and crafted. She has scrap bins and storage boxes full of half-worked prototypes, often with inscribed tin sheets spot-welded to them containing her ‘project notes’. Swords and daggers are a favorite subject, but anything with a blade will sooner or later come off her anvil. Formal weapons, however, take a back seat to the on-the-spot bar brawl type of weapons crafting, impromptu experiments in chemistry and geometry that she seems to have unlimited creativity with. She is rarely caught without inspiration in this matter, and delights at creating whimsical and amusing forms and configurations out of the most unlikely materials, often glass or wood, for temporary or even one-time use as weapons. While she has little talent at forging formal weapons like swords and daggers, with impromptu weapons her skill almost matches her ready enthusiasm…usually to the great detriment of any random objects caught in her immediate area at the moment of inspiration.

Weapons/Equipment: Kisa's shapeshifting abilities render many weapons and equipment obsolete, after all, when scales are a thought away, why weigh oneself down with armor? However, she does have a few pieces she is fond of.

Her 'full warlord armor' consists of a leather jacket and a number of metallic pieces that attach to it or her scales directly. The leather jacket itself is not, strictly speaking, leather: it is skin, still living. The Dame is a very good surgeon, and very patient. Daichande was once a drow elf she took as a lover. What exactly he did to deserve his current fate she does not often say. Regardless, she is quite fond of the finished piece, which stretches and changes shape to accommodate most of her forms and sizes. By feeding Daichande, it will even heal from injuries. The main advantage the jacket gives her is, by virtue of being still living, Daichande still has his drow elf aura and magical abilities. Mingling that with her own, she can change her appearance fundamentally enough to escape notice that she is not, in fact, entirely who she says she is.
The metal pieces are chrome-plated, to make them match, but the metal underneath is widely varied. Her wing pieces are steel, to help with her lightening-throwing. Her breastplate is death-metal, also known as black iron, and helps with her magic defense. Her leg spikes are sorceled silver, mythril, cold iron, gold, etc; in each case, something from which one race or another cannot heal. She also sometimes wears blades of sorceled silver or cold iron on her horns and hooves.
She carries a trident, sometimes, when passing herself off as the Dame Nightwalker. Or a scythe, when in her aspect as Queen of Spades, and double broadswords as the Warlord, and sometimes a whip with a rose of blades at the tip and barbed thorns along the cracker as a succubus. None of these weapons has any especial properties beyond the physical; usually they are just ornaments and accessories. If challenged to a serious battle, usually the first thing she will do will be to throw aside her weapons and strip naked.
She DOES have a few 'premade' mostly-magical items from other people; signet gems that unlock various parts of her house, magical grenades, sigil-stones for places she is a guest at, marker coins that she can track or track to, etc. These are rarely used in battle, though, and are mostly ease-of-lifestyle items.
Biography: ~Zuanvhul Dex Vexshuven~
Personality: Kisan has lived long, and for much of that long life, very well. She has her own demons, of course; foremost among them being the loss of her only true child. Still, she enjoys wealth and power, so she cannot be too miserable.
Primarily, she is simply bored, and out of that boredom, lethargic. While her education and powers grant her abilities to rival the gods, she rarely brings them to full force, and in fact has little idea of how broadly powerful she has actually become. She can easily be convinced to 'scrap', a small sparring match for pride's sake, but develops few true enemies because few can truly threaten her. Similarly, since few can offer her things she does not already have, she is usually unwilling to help with what is not her problem.
Basically, she has the political and physical wherewithal to do most anything, but can't be bothered on anyone's behalf but her own. Still, any request made of her will be investigated, out of the chance that it might intrigue her or even just alleviate her boredom for a few days.
She is also drastically lonely, but age has bred her into paranoia, and she is unlikely to let anyone within harm's reach of her. Better lonely than dead, she once said, and now says the same with a great deal of irony. Being all but unkillable, she has a rather morbid view on how the rest of her days are to be spent, and spends much of her time with the transient, solitary pleasures of scientific study. She also enjoys eating, but tries to curtail that as much as possible for the sake of her growth; too large a mass pool will overbalance her resident dimensions and cause them to implode on her. She enjoys battle intensely, and will seize most any opportunity to fight, feeling as though it is the closest thing to sexual pleasure she will ever experience again.

Deem's Character Profile (heavy reading)

I RP at lit/semilit level, always looking for partners. I like to see most words spelled correctly, within reason.
