The following are descriptions of the races of Altera.
Syrithian: Syrithians are the beings who stopped the god of law's rampage, allowing life to continue. As such, they have a cocky attitude. Syrithians are usually Priests, using their powers of healing for other's benefit, or Inquisitors, the ones who uphold the law in Syrithian lands.
Syrithian law prohibits any magic of the arcane. Such magic is seen as evil and those seen using it are captured or killed on the spot.
Teresian: Teresians are humans with more Draconic blood than most other races. Arcane magic is the norm. Teresians follow Bahamut, the god of dragons. Teresians and Syrithians are almost constantly at war with each other.
Plainsman: Plainsman are just that; travelers of the plains. Plainsman are large, strong and stupid.
Dwarf: Dwarves are the mountain-dwelling people. Many of them were wiped out by the god of law's judgement, but they do still live.
Gnome: Gnomes are the cave-dwelling people. Living in the same places as Dwarves, the two get along well. Many of them were wiped out by the god of law's judgement, but they do still live.
Halfling: Halflings live on the base of mountains. Living in the same places as Dwarves and Gnomes, the three get along well. Many of them were wiped out by the god of law's judgement, but they do still live.
There are many worlds.
But they share the same sky.
