Chicken Scratch Farm
This is where my Chicken Scratch is displayed to all who would dare read. Just remember, it is optional and will not be on the test, but it will generate extra credit. ;3
Leona, The Crown's Bane
This is more than likely not ready to be read by any living thing, but I'm taking chances. ;3 -- Enjoy!

Once, there was a legendary woman, a seer, who taught the mortals of our lands ways of seeing what she saw, a way to commune with the grounds, the skies, the winds, the fires, and the waters. She spoke of communication between a mortal being and a supernatural occurrence, for this she was made an exile by command of the high king as her “sinful practice” contradicted the entire foundation of their mainstream and much more “conventional” religions, where there was a higher power and you yourself were not the power.

During her exile, she began her own underground communications system to reach out to the people who wanted to know more of her, her practice, and exactly why she was labeled a heretic. During this time, she created her own society, shrouded by the forests, out of sight from the king, a haven, a glade untouched by the impurities of imperialist man. As her words traveled through the forests and back to colonies via royal spies posing as followers of her, the king saw her as a future threat, and therefore ordered a search of the settlement, a count of every follower, and the woman.

They saw a fair punishment for her deeds; they proposed to break one bone for every resident within her community. Where they ran short of bones, their force was still unmatched to any pain she had ever felt before, there wasn’t a hint of indecision before each painful snap, and they smirked at the heretic, occasionally spitting in her face or even kicking her in the bones already broken.

They rounded every resident and put them in the stockades, waiting for each of them to die out as their bones fueled by heresy were shackled into the stone grounds of the dark, and soul crushing place. When they were finished shattering every bone in the woman’s body, they burned her on a disk shaped like the sun, in honor of the light that they followed they purged a threat to their religion and begged their higher power for forgiveness for their people who were still “pure.” The elements did not skim over such an act of treason, as they were real aspects, not that any mortal could ever see them.

The lands for once in a time longer than the woman’s creation were screaming less and less each day, and as she was burned, the final whispers of the aspects settled the debate and they combined their powers into a vessel, a mortal now infused with invulnerability. The child was meant to grow with her supernatural abilities, and when the time was right, create her own society that she could shield and lead against the vile crown that was purging the life of the lands. Between her power that she already possessed and the power she would channel through the masses, she would be unstoppable until her goal was complete, crush the real impurity and relinquish her mortal form to dissipate back into the elements, which would be stronger than ever and unbreakable, not to mention respected.

It was her destiny from birth, one that she could not deny, nor protest. This child is Leona, The Crown’s Bane.
