Well, if I can't conjure somthing to write here once a week, why not make it a real journal: a record of my daily activities.
11/17 [wow this year has vanished.]
My hands are cold and this, of course, makes typing difficult.
So, it's Friday today, but I'm not at school. I, uh, woke up a little late, lifted my head up, contemplated finding a way to school else the bus, then fell back asleep.
I need to go to my father's this afternoon, in Phoenix. He lives in a little white speck in the sea of Mexicans. Now, don't misunderstand me: I'm not a rascist, nor to I discriminate. But, when it's as noticable as it is there, it's hard not to notice. It's just such a run-down, dirty place, with loud arguments and resounding gunshots and broken streets and big, ugly dogs.
It wouldn't be such a terrible place if my father and I actually did things while I was there [otherwise wasting a wonderful weekend]. Sometimes, we do. Usually, though, we just sit around. I nap a lot while I'm there to pass the time.
Another terror it holds for me is that of loneliness. I won't be able to contact my friends for a whole 2 days! O: What horror!
norly, it sux.
So, I've recently acquired an obsession with scarves. They're so useless in Arizona, but I love 'em. <3 I only have four thus far, but fear not, I'll get many more very soon.
I've begun a literary project, mostly by myself on my own initiative. I will create an entire world to stage my tales and poetry, something like Middle-Earth, with its own legends and lands and peoples and ideas. It's going to be strenuous, but with how my attempts at prose and verse have been lately, I see it as a good thing: a way to practice writing without necessarily telling tales.
Still questing that OMG. Not so close anymore, but I try.
I have a collection of wonderful items as it is, so I haven't much room for complaint.
I have a new home in the CB. It's called EFK [Electric Fart Kitten]. Malice and Marle and the whole crew are pretty amazing, so I have made it my place.
As this correspondence comes to a close, I will say that this journal will, indeed, become an almost daily record, so check in often, if you care to.
Alexander.
