Sitting in the corner, gazing out into the window
Hearing people chatting merrily, being among others
While sitting in that corner alone, afraid of being close to another
The monster within her grows bigger with each passing day
Hungry for attention, the desire to be among others and to be accepted
The monster of longingness and loneliness consumes her

Without quenching that desire, she sinks lower and deeper
Down into the depths of darkness of loneliness and despair
Afraid of getting hurt yet wanting to be hurt
Her feelings were messed up, confused as she stares at the blade beside her
The monster inside, begged her to grab it and place it
Ever so deliciously on her delicate wrist, feeling her own heartbeat thumped fast

Pressing the blade against her delicate wrist, drawing gorgeous crimson red from there
Seeing blood oozing out from there, she felt a strange comfort
As the pain slowly emerge from the cut, she slowly felt alive
She continues to cut, to feel comforted till the blood ran dry
And there she sat in the corner, a smile on her face
But the price was that which was precious for her living
