Ashes to Ashes
Rhia rounded the corner, reaching out with all of her senses. She forced the bloodlust back, trying not to choke on her desire for Cameron's blood. She knew that if she stayed focused she would have it soon enough.

The classrooms were empty, and she encountered very few studets as they gathered books and supplies in their small groups. A voice in her head, Angelus' voice, snarled 'sheep', and she shook her head.

She didn't care that she was getting odd looks as she jogged around semi-empty corridors, darting into and then out of rooms. She was so close to the goal she had set for herself...

She was going to find Cameron, and kill him.

She didn't allow herself to think of Ellune then. If she thought of what Cameron had planned for Ellune, she would lose focus. She would never find him if she was distracted. He was a century older than even her, which meant that he had been hiding longer, and was better at masking his presence.

He could even be standing beside her now, if he was powerful enough-- Ellune! With a wild, feral growl, Rhia turned around on her heel, running back toward the Drama room, and the innocent that she was sworn to protect.

_____________ Ellune _____________

I stood on stage, the warmth of the lights seeping into my chilled, numb mind. My words were smooth, and anyone watching would have thought that I was in love with the Prince. I professed it so sweetly, moved toward the balcony longingly...

The scene would have faded, and I sighed. Enough was enough, and I was too worried about Rhia's odd reaction to continue practicing.

Something made a banging noise in the back of the auditorium, and I jumped. Great. The Drama Costume room had been raided three times, and we all knew it was the jocks. I smiled secretly to myself, sure that this time I was going to catch one of them in the act.

I snuck around the corner into the dressing room in the wings, then looked into the costume trailer... but it wasn't a football player I saw. It was Cameron, and he wasn't alone.

All I saw were his eyes, his deep, perfect eyes, and the blood flowing from the two wounds in the Drama Teacher's neck.
