So we've arrived in Tortuga. William seems to be confused by the goings on. He got ta' see me get slapped around a bit. We've got ourselves a crew and he knows Mr.Gibbs apparently. I wish he wouldn' continue lookin' for Elizabeth. Perhaps he don' see it. But, I have to please 'im. Even though part of me wants to take 'im and make 'im a pirate. It's in 'is blood. 'Is father was a pirate. I 'old Will that. He don' wanna listen to me though. He swears he's not a pirate. I'll let the lad b'lieve it so long as he don' try to sell me out. We made port just near the Isle De Muerta and Will went with me inside the actual isle. I tol' 'im he was a pirate. He went crazy for the gold under th' water. When we got thar I tol' 'im to stay with the boat. He don' listen to me much. He came up behind me and o'course got 'imself in trouble. I ended up havin' to save 'im and 'is bonnie lass. 'Owever in th' end I got to shoot Barbossa. We managed to be safe and I nearly got hung. There was Will comin' to me rescue. I fell over th' ledge and made it back to the Pearl. I know I'll see 'im again. I just wish it could be sooner.
