Luca's Family Heritage
The Cantellano family did not always have such power. Although they have been among the Elite since the begining of the Dark Elves' creation, they were not the most powerful. Before Dark Elves existed, there was only one type of elf. This species today is known as the Elders. Close to none are left in this world. After the Elders began separating and going their diferent ways, they began to appear different from eachother. The climate and way of living in each separate territory of the Elders began changing each group. Some groups became darker, other shorter, some taller. After centuries of evolving, they began to claim different names. One group began calling themselves the Dark Elves. One of the Elders of the group was named Varsuvius Cantellano. Soon, no elf known was of the original species. They all had changed and evolved to the point where they were not recognizable as the Elder species. The Elders were no more.
Varsuvius Cantellano, along with six others, were the leaders of this new clan Dark Elves. Varsuvius wanted power, however. He saw himself as no equal to the others of his clan. He wanted complete control. One of the others, however, knew of Varsuvius' plans. His name was Benvolius Minagrita. Benvolius was Varsuvius' best friend. They had known eachother since birth. They had faught in battles together, lived togther, and were raised together. When Benvolius discovered Varsuvius' plans, Benvolius firsrt confronted Varsuvius to see if he could talk some sense into his old friend. Varsuvius, with a heart of black ice, slaughtered his dear friend. Varsuvius did not want anyone to know of his plans until he had control, not even his friend. He had not expected, however, that another of the Elite had been spying on his and Benvolius's conversation... had Benvolius' murder. Varsuvius Cantellano was soon exiled from the Dark Elf clan.
A few generations later, after most of the original Elites had died of old age, Varsuvius' descendant, Aro Cantellano, returned to the Dark Elf Clan. Aro claimed that the claims that Varsuvius had killed Benvolius and had thirsted fo domination was untrue. Although Aro knew very well that the claims were true, Aro knew that the only way for the Cantellanos to retrieve their rightful power was to be accepted by the Dark Elves again. Because none of the original Elite was still alive to stand against Aro's claims of innocence, the Cantellano family was soon accepted back with open arms. It did not take long for the Cantellano name to become one of the Elites again.
After hundreds of generations past, the Cantellano's still had the power of Elites. One day, a man named Alain Cantellano came forth. He had achieved ultimate power and strength. He waged wars and led fierce battles. Many innocent men, women, and children died. Some of the Dark Elves revolted against him and his power, but Alain easily wiped them from the face of the Earth. Alain Cantellano was indeed the strongest Cantellano known.
