Dear Public Journal,
Today, I found out that people here don't like simplicity, not at all. I got trashed for wearing a nice and simple outfit, and was told that you only look good if you're wearing giant red dragons and squishable kittens. I, personally, find this quite annoying. Not all of us know where to find kittens or dragons, outside of the black market.
I'm not the only one put down by this society, though! I've seen many others put down for trying to throw together cute outfits for less than 50,000 gold. It seems that being rich has gotten to the minds of many inhabitants of this land, and I don't like it one bit. We must rise up and overthrow the shackles of poorness!
