So I wake up and immediately get on Gaia. After a few minutes, I get stuff to eat and get in the shower.

At half past eight, I make it all the way downtown for Day One of Musical Theatre Summer Studio.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with the horrifying sight of 6-7 seven year olds. gonk I thought there would be people my age.

No worries, the teenagers came. Sleeping in! Tsktsk... gonk I'm one of three guys there. The other guys are both ten. One of them is mentally retarded. crying

We played the Name Game first, got to know everybody. I made two new friends today. Amanda, is an eighteen year old actor who is trying out for the School of Music next year, and CJ is a 15-year old girl who loves singing. CJ and Amanda between them have four siblings at the camp. I'd hate to have my brothers there.

So we started with dancing. Yes, I danced. We did something called step-ball-change, where you step on your leading foot, and go back on the ball of your second foot and then step forward with your lead again. It was really easy. We were doing it to Red Hot Chili Peppers music as well, so life was good.

The singing part happened next. Our main number is Seasons of Love from RENT!!! whee whee whee whee My second favorite musical! We're also doing a song called Pain, which tells the story of a dancer talking about the aches and pains of dancing. I have a solo. Mainly because I'm the only guy in my teenage group. cool

Then we had the acting part. We read over the script of Finding Nemo, and me and Amanda are doing the part where Marlin (the daddy fish) and Nemo are getting ready/going to school. I'm Marlin. And my teacher said we were the best in the entire class at acting. Because of our uber memorizing and movement.

Then we ate lunch.

And then we did the Nemo thing again. And then I went home.

Mom took me to Tim Hortons after for a Coca-Cola.
