Regarding a certain Gabriel Cunningham. (IC Character Post)
Well then. Looks like I'd better get started on writing this too. I bet lots of people are wondering just what is going on with the bunch of us... Not like you haven't seen anything like it before, though. Since you're here, you're probably curious. Read on, I suppose.

Regarding: Gabriel Cunningham, age ???

Can't say I didn't warn you. I'm most certainly no spring chicken, but I ain't an old man either. Round middle-age, as you can probably not see, but imagine. Since I haven't officially appeared yet, let me give you a brief rundown - tall, untidy green hair in a ponytail, and I forget to shave in the morning sometimes. Oh, and smokes. Yeah sure, I work in a hospital, but that hasn't stopped me. Not yet. And yes, I'm a diagnostician. I know very well what's happening to my lungs, and I can assure you that I won't be getting lung cancer anytime soon. Why? The words you're reading don't allow it. Yes, I know about you, the one reading this log I'm writing. Hello there.

Regarding: The hospital.

Honestly this place can be anywhere you want it. Aekea, Durem, Barton, not like she really cares. Up to your interpretation, the location. The main hospital that we're referring to would be Resurgam First Care, recently shifted through what you would call 'canon' into this blank space - The kid calls it the 'Resurgam Incident'. Lots of things got messed up, a lot of the original staff have gone missing, as well as a huge number of patients. Damn, it takes a long time just to find one person! So far I've found a few people, though not in ways you'd imagine. We still do function as a hospital, though. Feel free to stop by whenever you need medical assistance. Now, for the list of people so far...

Regarding: Derek Stiles, age twenty-eight.

Derek. Good ol' Derek, my med school buddy. Residency at Hope Hospital, transferred to Caduceus upon learning that he has the Healing Touch and can slow down local time if he concentrates and draws a pentagram? Yeah. That guy. Crushing on his nurse Angie too. Wonder when they're gonna pop the bubble, they've been at it for quite some time now. He's the doctor that was on the frontlines against GUILT, PGS and Neo-GUILT, and yes I know the last two will only happen when he's a year older. Well, he's been popping by Resurgam once in a while, and took our resident convict surgeon as his apprentice. Post shift, he's been helping me in keeping track of our staff and patients, as well as helping me look for the still-missing ones. He's quite the lucky person, really - shift didn't throw him anywhere, just left him and me alone in the hospital. He's nice, a little stupid at times, but pretty serious when it comes to his patients. But isn't that what a good doctor should be, though? There's a particular person he hasn't struck off with - one of our residents. They quibble a lot, and frankly I think it's quite funny the way they bicker with each other.

Regarding: Erhard Muller, aka CR-S01, age twenty-six.

Ah, the kid. Studied in Cumberland College for his med degree, under his professor, who was also his adoptive dad, and one day they accidentally let loose that virus they were developing. Killed the entire campus, dad fleed, and kid got caught by the FBI on grounds of bioterrorism. Think trauma chopped his memory, though, he doesn't remember a thing about that. Not like it helped against him getting thrown into the prison's cryo chamber for a grand total of a hundred and twenty five years, though. Then he was sent to us on grounds of working off his sentence as a visiting doctor - he dealt with general surgery, and that's about where the fun parts started... Derek came over, and decided to teach him a little bit about the Healing Touch, and keep him around as his apprentice. Was nearly about to work off that life sentence of his too... Then the shift struck and suddenly he's casted into some fantasy fairytale, thinking he's a cleric and whatnot. At least he still retains his medical knowledge, though. Would be sad to see that all wasted. He went on an adventure - one, mind you, not multiple times as he thinks - with a bunch of ragtag mercenaries and got themselves all frozen to the ground at the last boss. Not that I'd like to say anything, but there was a reason... His so-called Dice God put that story on hiatus, thus condemning him to an eternal rest.... Until I went in and thawed the poor guy out with a pickaxe and sent him on his way. He lives in a church now, not far from the hospital, but he still does come in to stay in his old cell if he's gotten a little too badly hurt. Which cell? Why, you want to visit him or something? First floor, west wing, Ward 305. Have fun, it's not called the 'fridge' for nothing.

Regarding: Rosalia Rossellini, age eleven.

Hey, it's CR's sister - since she doesn't appear as is, I'll give you a rundown: White mop of hair, purple eyes, skinny as a twig. Yeah, I know she's supposed to be barely out of the orphanage at this age, and given that her adoptive brother's twenty-six now she should be seventeen. And dead. For the purposes of this continuity, though, she's eleven... And dangerous. She's a natural host to the original virus that wiped out the school, and she holds the cure in her blood - at least, originally. Here, she's the walking personification of the Rosalia Virus, plus with a few more bits of inflicted-upon-her-brother body horror and naivety. She's a cute girl, though, I give her that. She turned up on her brother's doorstep a few days after he was freed from his ice prison, and infected him with her disease straightaway, though he did not know it until the symptoms - organ rearrangement, failure and replacement, not to mention lots of haemorrhaging, sores and of course, the classic bruises, tumors, nausea, convulsions and finally cardiac arrest. Poor sod only woke up once the virus had finished with him - completely hollowed himself out and replaced it with some kind of purple-black goop that was part of his sister. Being the good big brother he is all he did was lock her in the basement, but that hasn't stopped her from annoying him a lot, though. Why he still wants to keep it a secret even when things going on around here are a lot stranger beats me. She can pull off quite a number of fancy tricks, most of them involving her brother and body horror, like sprouting tendrils from his wounds, squirming right under his skin and turning her goop into projections of herself, which is why he wears that ribbon of his to ward off any mischief she's trying to pull. Kid says she's inflicted with some unholy disease... Actually it's just that she's the virus, nothing else. Speaking of which, the seal's been getting weaker recently... I should take the both of them back for a hard reset soon.

Regarding: Naomi Kimishima, age 31.

Look who we found a few days ago! I'll have to talk to her a little bit more, though, before I can really say anything about her. Though, before the shift, she was working with the Cumberland Institute of Forensic Medicine as a medical examiner. Forensics. She used to work as a doctor, first in Japan, then she lost her license as they did not really think too well of her Healing Touch. Yes, she does have one, just like Derek, though hers is different in the sense that hers restores vitals to the patient as she patches them up. A lot like an auto-stabilizer. She got a job at St. Francis Hospital under the guise of Nozomi Weaver and the bioterrorist group Delphi as her backup... So in return, she has to help them keep their GUILT patients alive for studying - yes, merely 'keep alive', not 'cure'. When Delphi was attacked by the government for causing the GUILT pandemic, she quickly up and left, taking with her samples of GUILT to trade together with her abilities for freedom. Worked well enough, and she landed herself in Caduceus Europe to continue medicine. Until... Well. She herself was not spared from the GUILT she was working with in the past, and Derek diagnosed her with Pempti - and only a few months to live. She'd transferred to CIFM then, starting work as a forensics doctor to help the dead instead of the living. Her liaison - the same guy who was escorting her when she was with Delphi - assists her in her investigations now... Looks like quite a pretty little relationship, eh? In the normal timeline, she would have helped us investigate the Rosalia pandemic, gotten infected by the original form of the virus, which mutated into a large worm living in her heart, and the kid would operate on her and save her life. But this isn't that timeline, so I can't say I know what's happened to her.... She doesn't look different, but I'm guessing something pretty related to Pen there... And I don't know if she's managed to cure herself of Pempti or not. She can't cook anything but curry, and she has an adopted daughter, Alyssa Breslin, age eight.

Regarding: Sp.I. Navel aka Little Guy, age???

I'd say he's got the cutest crush on Naomi I've ever seen. He's quite a little hothead, compared to his boss's ice-queen demeanor. And also a little trigger-happy with that gun of his... But what can I say? Being an ex-Delphi agent then a member of the FBI isn't going to make one pretty lax at shooting, you know. He's extremely protective of Naomi, going so far as to take quite a few shots from her, even if he knows it's going to cost him quite dearly. And not just physical shots too - he had to pull a few strings to get the FBI to allow Naomi to adopt Alyssa after her parents were blown up in a bombing incident she was investigating. Soft spot for them both, he has, though Naomi has also shot him down on many occasions whenever he tries to flirt with her. He enjoys rock music, and he has thrown a cute little fit before when one of their investigations brought up an exploded electric guitar belonging to one of his idols, so I'd really rather you not try and mess with him regardless, or mess with Naomi for that matter. His gun bullets will hurt when they pierce your skull clean, and he's quite a good shot too. And also, only Naomi calls him Little Guy. Special Investigator Navel to the rest of you. Now what did the shift do to him.... I dunno yet. I'll update this log sometime later, once we've figured out what's changed him. He is the next one up and running for 'favourite', though...

Regarding: Wheatley Pendleton, age ???

Derek absolutely hates this guy. Kind of given, though, the sarcastic metal-brain that he is. Wheatley's from another continuity altogether, and even that one was mashed up - Touhou and Portal, with quite a few more stuff mixed in. Plus he's got a screwed-up life as well, what with crashing down on the magical land with the moon in tow and then striking up the hots with the resident aquatic engineer. Ironic that she did not build him a body that was waterproof, given that they live very close to the water. He was a chatterbox then, guy can't stand to not hear his own voice every five seconds. They worked well together, and then the great Yukari Yakumo decided to mess everything up and make Nitori shoot robotboy here out of Gensokyo, and he crawled all the way to Resurgam missing two legs and half an arm. Guy's got guts, even if he's made of metal. Brought along that modified ASHPD from home too. What'd I do? Give him a room, at least, he'd explode the moment it rained and he was outside. He's fine with not leaving, and he doesn't mind busying himself with the hospital equipment, and Derek is pretty pissed about that. Medical machines cost quite a lot, but I don't see how Resurgam is running out of them, at any rate. He's a rather stubborn cynic now, I never knew that nuclear-powered core in his chest was capable of emotion. He's also fixed himself a pair of prosthetic braces to walk around with, and uses his half-an-arm as a dock for the plasma cannon. Reason why I like talking to him is because he knows about you all too - He was once the universe hopper, and also the 'pillar' of his world's reality plane, just like me. His ward, if you want to go see the geezer, is on the third floor of the west wing, Ward Room 101. Don't look at me like that, the ward numbers have changed quite a bit during the shift!

I'll guess I'll add more once we find more people. There's still quite a number of people to look for at the moment.

Regarding: AG, age ???

You think I was going to put her real age? Dream on, this is the internet. No way in hell, even though I know I'm just a character in a story. AG's the stupid kind of writer that puts too much effort into her worlds, because she's got OCD about all the little details like this log you're reading, for example. Generally lazy, loves to procrastinate, writes and draws all this crap, what else would you want to know? Right... CR thinks she's his Dice God, but she is, given that she was the one who caused the stupid shift in the first place. She really should have something better to do with her time, rather than conjuring made up dreams and whatnot. She's the one who dragged him straight out of continuum and plonked him into a fantasy RPG setting because she felt like it, the sadist. And looks like CR's the unlucky guy... Whoever earns her favorite usually ends up quite the broken bird, take for example Wheatley. He was the one before the kid, and look what he's now. Whatever body horror she finds is going to be inflicted on that poor man, and probably his sister too. Pity, I've got to stand here and watch until they really do break, then only can I step in and give them that well-deserved hard reset.

Regarding: Current Activity.
Looking for the rest of the staff and patients,
and keeping an eye out for the kid and his sister.
