I know a number of people that have sold things in the marketplace underpriced, usually by error or confusion. And if and when I get a PM back with them asking to return the item and they'd give me my gold back.. I'd do it!
Ironically enough, I bout some winged anklets cheap a year back, and returned them due to the fact that the original owner was totally distraught. I later bought another pair for normal inflated price. >.>
Now. The Irony. I DID IT! I underpriced my anklets by 230K! And guess what? They ignored me. So I had to sell all my other items just to get my precious winged anklets back.
It just goes to show you. People on Gaia are greedy and malicious. They will do whatever it takes to get your items and keep them for themselves.
For the end of this story, here is what happened:
Originally bought my anklets for 100K...
Accidentally put a 130K pricetag on them...
Bought another pair for 300K.
People suck.
