Nick was more than a little irked as he made his way to Eden. The snow was thinnining as he grew farther away from the Harvard campus, yet for some reason he felt colder As the signs told him he was getting closer. "Damn heater...." He grumbled as he turned on his radio, but was met by only static. "You've got to be kidding me..." He almost screamed into the steering wheel. 'Maybe the Satelite radio? No, the signal wouldn't come through well enough for him to enjoy it. This sucks...'

Nick drove through the town slowly looking everything over with a look of disgust. Professor Strop had told him that the town had started as a trading center, and that was partially true. There were several mills on the out skirts and several forestry crews working to get their quota of pine and whatever else grew in the area, but the town was a pure tourist trap. The town was developed around a historical square, where all of the buildings were restored to their tightly knit 19th century luster. The square was almost entirely shops and offices for resource production firms. The upper levels were homes and rent by the night Bed and Breakfasts. His mother would have loved this place, and he began to wonder why she hadn't dragged the family here when he was younger.

The Skorm Manor sat in the country side on the other side of Eden, sourounded by a dense collection of shipping companies and forests. By the time Nick had arrived at the gate the snow had stopped falling al together, and the grounds beyond the gate were a lushious green. He was met at the gate by two guards wearing slate grey outfits. As one approached his car and rolled down the window. "Hi there! I'm Nick Bordou, I'm supposed to be staying here for a while?" The guard turned to signal theopening of the gate. "Welcome to Eden Mr. Bordou, please enjoy your stay at the monor."
