Late at night I think of you and the moon begins to fade,
I try to hold back my tears and I can't find the words to say.
The pain of it all, the hurt and sorry too;
But the pain is knowing that you love me as much as I love you.
So I sit here waiting and hoping your ok,
and I wonder if you think of me as you go about your day.
Its hard to stand, to go on and still I try,
But deep down I know that I'd rather die.
I saved myself for you and thats the way its going to stay,
No one can ever take your place.
So I'll continue crying into the suit jacket you left,
and pray for another day.
