Backstory and Current Events, plus things that branch out.
This will be added to as the roleplay goes along, with various new details added or some removed.
Remember, there are actually TWO Losettes. This will be explained.
Also, all bolded terms will be defined/explained at the end of this entry.
Losette is a Malith. One of the few left in the human realm, and a female, thus making her status amongst her species valuable. Old by human standards, though young by her own, currently Losette(1) is around 6,000 years old. When she was younger she was not as meanspirited nor was she so much a pyromanic, but rather a jovial nice child.
However, being trapped within our plane, and eventually turned into an unwilling Class 3m Spirit Cluster, she became insanely jaded, and almost genocidal against humans.
Losette at age 6,623.A firestarter, with little regards to human life. She in time found an ally and future lover with the being known as Quark, and eventually formed an unhealthy obsession with killing Enzotto (Enzo for short).
Time would soon pass, as did the years, before her hate for humanity as a whole dropped, and she became more friendly. Such had occured as she watched those around her age and die, whilst she lived on, almost immortal. But not quite.
Nearing the ripe age of 60,000, she was ushered home by a party sent to find her. Coming home to find a female crowned as Queen of her little cluster, it was none too long before she instigated a bloody coup, being the one responsible for the almost unforgivable murder of the Queen and her royal guard.
However, as opposed to punishment, those that sat above, the Malithian council recognized her power, and willingness to strike in what she saw was the good of her kind, and crowned her a Dread Queen. Though discontent with the title, she begrudgingly accepted it, and began the first successful attempt at unification with the meager remnants of the population.
Losette at age 66,024. After almost 6 thousand long years of fighting and diplomacy, she is the first queen of the Unified Malithian Nations (UMN). Despite her fearsome title, and the reputation of genocide held by former Dread Queens (the most recent one actually was reported to have a hand in the Holocaust), she has opened diplomatic talks with the human race, slowly improving relations and quality of life for both sides. At an unknown time prior to this incarnation, did she give up her gift of fire, fearing it was impossible to keep in check when her emotions ran wild, and instead gained the gift of ice. The downside to this, is she eventually lost the ability to feel for the most part, and became incredibly cold to the touch.
Through an unknown mishap, this Losette and her younger counterpart got time-swapped, and for a while, both lived in their opposite's period. It's thought that this incident did scar the younger Losette a bit, but no signs show in her older version, so it's either surpressed or it never happened. Also during this incident, did she meet a demon called Dimitri, who through a bit of a mishap, made her a sort of puppet, whilst empowering her even more.
She in time became acquainted with a fearsome foe, a being called Setar, who was from the same species as Quark, but was the complete opposite of him; a malicious power hungry entity who had little need for her other than to attempt to get at Quark by using her.
Losette at the tender age of 100,582. During the last 10,000 years of her life. Losette sucumbed to blindness, eventually obtaining the title of White Queen, based on all she had done. Because of her efforts, both in peace and in war, the Malithian species no longer faced extinction, nor did Humanity suffer from massive losses of life and ongoing suffering. She was to be remembered fondly amongst her subjects for doing her best to keep them going.
She passed on eventually one week after turning 110,000.
Terminology Mentioned:
Malith: An old species originating from the planet Earth that was eventually driven by early humans sometime during the reign of the Pharoahs. The species is naturally long lived, with most reaching the age of 90,000, and a few rare ones living to 99,000 or more. The species originally harbored a loathing for humans due to being driven from their birth plane, and the eventual massacres that were lead on any colonies that occasionally ventured back to try and resettle what was theres.
Class 3m Spirit Cluster: See Here for reference.
Queen: Malithian female to ratios are abnormal, with 10:1 in the case of males to females. As with the case, any and all females that survive to the age of 60k become Queens, ruling over select pockets of the species. Depending on the Queen's overall attitude and approachments to situations at hands, they may be called something more than just a Queen.
Dread Queen: A Queen that is notorious for being ruthless in combat or just period. Powerful and almost unfellable, Dread Queens are luckily few and far between. Those that have been crowned with such a title are usually responsible for leading and occasionally succeeding in plans of mass genocide against varying species, mostly focusing on the original annoyance and threat to them, humans.
White Queen: The title White queen goes two ways. It is bestowned upon any Queen who both exceeds the natural lifespan, and is benevolent, be it to her own race or to those they interact with. Fewer than 10 White Queens have been crowned since recorded malithian history, making this the highest honor bestowed upon a female.
Strenghts:
Losette, in both young and old age, is rather strong, able to pull grown men off their feat with nary a sweat, and throw them hard enough to break sturdy tress. She also possesses great endurance, a genetic trait amongst her species, as they had to adapt to harsher and harsher climates as they were uprooted from Earth and became migrants before settling in the farthest corners of the Otherplane, so that they wouldn't decline any faster than natural.
Weaknesses:
Whilst blessed with great endurance, her stamina is incredibly low, and she can easily exert or overexert herself in dire situations. In her youth, due to her elemental disposition in favoring fire, she could be stopped cold by water or extreme cold weather effects. Prolonged exposure when she is young to the coldest of climates seen anywhere, be it Earth or the Otherplane, results in a decrease in her abilities and eventually passing out.
In her older state, when she becomes inclined to ice, applied amounts of Fire can burn her with the littlest of ease, nor can she stand hot climates, not that her body is internally and externally cold, almost made of ice.
Her sight is also somewhat poor, so any visibility reducing effects can disable her greatly.
