Age of Oddyseys: Celia Garsea
Celia the daughter of a shipyard owner who likes the stars and ships. When she turned fourteen, her parents started grooming her to be married. She didn't like the prospect of being tied down so soon, so she cut her hair short, like a boy's to lessen her appeal to possible suitors.

Because of this action, she was beaten on numerous occasions. Her relationship with her family grew worse the more she defied them. Not wanting to suffer more, she ran away from home, planning to take one of her father's ships and escape as a stowaway.

While hiding in one of the barrels on the port, a band of pirates docked and laid siege to the kingdom, Celia saw the horrors of the pirates deeds and crept through the alleys until she reached the castle gate. The guards there were hesitant to let her in, but upon hearing the screams growing nearer, they allowed her in to see the king. The king sent his men to quell the invasion, but by then the city was in poor shape around the dock. People had lost their family members and the pirates were cast off again.

One of the places pillaged had been her old house. With the owner of the estate deceased, she took charge and tried to gather a crew of able-bodied people who could take ships to defend the ports. The king heard of her efforts and supported her, sending a few of his finest men to aide in defending the kingdom's waters. Thus, The crew of the Odyssey was born and their adventures began.

Lucia's audio log: Guilt case 1
"Blake was my friend. To this day, I still wonder how a child could have forgotten or even missed something so stupidly fundamental.

'I'm not him! I'm not him! I'm not him! I'm not him!'

He needed us. He screamed for us and who did we call out to? I'm not sure... but for all I know the man I was trying to argue with might as well have been a dead man.

Some friend I am...

I can't find him anymore, for some reason, I've tried, but his soul ribbon won't appear for me. I asked Voirshe to help me change that moment, but he wouldn't. Said that moment in history was set in stone, like it was supposed to happen...

Aurelus thinks he may have gone home. While my brother may be right... and he might have gone home, I don't think he's dead.

Blake... Where are you, my friend? It's been ages... and I'm sorry..."

The Mindscape
The mindscape is a place where thoughts and feelings are given form internally. Everyone's is different in some way or another and the area is effected and influenced by new thoughts and emotions. For instance, the surface of Lucia's mindscape and much of what she walks and moves around on is actually either water or alabaster stone. As long as she's calm, focused, determined, she can stay above it. When she falls below the surface or feels herself being pulled in, it signifies how she's wrestling with something or feels overwhelmed. It's all reflected in the mindscape. Of course, mostly, this place is only seen in dreams.

When she was a child, this mindscape was a garden framed in alabaster stone, but with her ambitions and the pressures of adulthood and wanting to be independent, it flooded and broke up to what it is today. Her mindscape is still in the process of changing.

Subterrans Brainstorming
Subterrans are a humanoid species that has lived underground for thousands of years. Because of this, they are not accustomed to and have a low tolerance to the sun. A series of ducts and veins in their skin and eyes create bio luminescent patterns that allow them to see. Their eyes are adapted to low light, so the small amount of light they give off is enough. They used to hunt and propagate mushrooms for their diet, but as times have changed, they went out at night and made deals with those above ground for better food and living conditions. Few of them actually still remain underground. The ones who do are loyal to the old traditions and stick to a small, underground village.

Their specialties include enhanced strength that allows them to move heavy objects easily, smooth skin that allows them to move through things like soil easier, a second set of eyelids for when they dig or swim, tolerance to cold, tolerance to the high humidity the underground has, a duct system that soaks in and drains water that gets in the lungs into their waste system (keeps lungs clear in high humidity, durable claws used for digging and climbing, and enhanced endurance so they can endure the pressure of soil, rock, and debris on top of them.

This species skin burns in the sun. It is very dangerous for them to be exposed to, so a wise subterran will only go out at night. Those who do have to cover up well to protect themselves or wear special gear to protect them.

C.O.R.E. brainstorming
C.O.R.E- Central Objective Reaction Emission

C.O.R.E. is a project designed to create an artificial race that preserves the knowledge of humanity in its nano-cells. Some of these cells can build and rebuild each other. This race is designed to interface with computers and it's being tested to see if that knowledge can be passed to humanity.

Because of the artificial cells, these life forms are about twice to three times as big as normal humanoids.

Attempts at creating an artificial life form with personality and soul have proved unsuccessful. All subjects seem to be missing these key features that typically define races. They have intelligence and serve the purposes they are programmed for, but do not have a willpower of their own.

It's as if the gods are teasing us. One of our specimens has awakened and is... stubborn? This is a good sign! We are examining them now to try and implement their systems on the rest of the subjects!

The original has taken over the other subjects. This is not what we wanted to achieve, so we are shutting down the subject of interest to protect the integrity of the project. We'll just have to use whatever data we have gathered. We cannot fail! The future of humanity depends on this.

We have succeeded at creating subjects with wills and personalities of their own, at a great cost, but the data is limited. Our project is falling behind the knowledge mankind currently has. The subjects need to question themselves. In the end, it may be them who advances themselves.

Data has been expanded after ten years! We are proceeding to experiment with updating our subjects so they can interface and use magic. So far, testing is inconclusive.

The testing for magical interfacing has proved a failure. We are moving on to digital interfacing with living cells in order to improve medicine and eliminate diseases from humanity.

Unfortunately, contact with such subjects has... proved volatile. Living cells aren't designed to interface like this and the nanocells try to take over, conflicting with living cells. This is called the EDEN virus. Of course, because it takes over sections at a time, not replacing organs quick enough or making them too big, it kills more often than it completely takes over. The virus seems to be gathering data, counteracting our attempt to stop it by restructuring the cells. Just what have we wrought on humanity? These specimens must not leave the lab at any cost.

The project has been shut down! I repeat! The project has been shut down. Subjects are becoming hostile because they don't understand or register why we won't let them stay awake. They are proceeding to overwrite our shutdown process! They- Ack! No wait! Don't! What are you doing? Don't come any closer! I- Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! *sploshing sounds are heard, then static as the message cuts out*

Marble, the Illyrian Gem
Marble is essentially a gem, but not in the same manner as those of Steven Universe. She wasn't formed deliberately or even with a purpose, so there was no purpose to know.

When Elizabeth was struck down the first time, an important piece of Ramiel: the coat of many arms, broke off and was absorbed into the floor. Over years and with much remodeling, she was covered up, left to grow for thousands of years. After Elizabeth, the woman responsible for her being died, she awoke and took form. Of course, she had to tear up the floor quite a bit to escape and she was frightened and didn't know where the heck she was.

Because she was in the earth so long, she was born small and will probably stay small forever. She appears to be a child. Her gem is small and deep blue. It has a glow that goes in and out, almost like a heart beats.

There is no English word for her gem because of where it came from, so she was named for the floor she crawled out of.

She can't really speak yet, but she does mimic and she does show interest in learning.

She also doesn't need to eat, sleep, or breathe.

Unlike other gems who summon their weapons, she transforms into weapons: just bout any weapon her master can imagine. Her body parts can, in desperate times, reform into blades.

This gem can easily startle, depending on the circumstances. She's shy and not used to a lot of people yet. She hasn't decided what to think of them.

Okay, so...
Age of Odysseys, what I want to start is essentially like this.

Back way way in Medieval times, a king commissions a fleet of sailors to protect the seas from an ever mounting problem with pirates invading city shores.

This works and pirate influence o the shores diminish, so he begins offering his assistance to neighboring kingdoms. Seeing the benefit, neighboring kingdoms join the fight with fleets and soldiers of their own, allowing this guard to expand their horizons and sail the world in search of new nations to connect and establish trade with.

However, as they sail the world, not all is as it seems. Dangerous threats and beings one might not even consider human and monsters of the deep also lurk in wait. What will become of this ever-growing fleet? Only time will tell.
