One thing that should be noted, Tippy is a vegetarian.
Tippy came from a normal Joe background,only Child to her mother and father. They were middle class in financial wise, and Tippy's parents weren't what you call breeders. Though they showed 'dog' pokemon in contests and other things of that like. In fact the only pokemon her parent's bred was a baby Growlithe that soul bonded to her right from birth. The two was always rough housing and getting into trouble.
When Tippy was about four, she was playing with her parents Arcanine's and decided to ride one of them unsupervised which wasn't uncommon for Tippy to do. She was an adventurous young thing. But, Tippy decided she didn't want to wait for the Arcanine to stop and hopped off it while it was in the middle of a dash.
Hitting her head hard on the ground, Tippy lost her eyesight, sort of. She isn't completely blind, Tippy can see blurry shapes and bright colors but that is it. Even though she had this handicap, it didn't stop her for being a kid and adventuring around her home town of Cherrygrove City with Titan (her Growlithe pup) as her seeing eye dog.
Due to loosing most of her eye sight Tippy's other senses increased, including her ability to understand pokemon. Being that she bonded with a fire pokemon, she understands most fire pokemon when they talk, she also can speak with water types and normal types. Everything else just sounds like odd buzzing to her, she hopes she can one day learn to speak with all types and can be seen about attempting to talk to all pokemon with Titan at her side.
After gaining a load of Independence by literally just leaving in the middle of the night at the age of 15, Tippy made her way down to the Island after bonding with a Audino she calls Butterscotch, or Butters for short. Butters tends to look after Tippy, as in making sure shes dressed correctly or her hair is brushed.
Tippy is currently working with the Island's police force in hopes to save up enough money for a fire stone so Titan can evolve. Something he has expressed a want to do.
