Ugh. So last night, I was going to finally buy the beloved inari's beads. I'd been planning to wait until an announcement came up saying they were leaving, but I figured I'd waited long enough. And then what do I find? They're gone! scream They've already taken them out of the cash shop! v.v Now I will probably never get them. cry

Wow! I just got a Royal Yukata from the daily chance! This is the best item I've gotten from the daily chance yet.

Kinda depressed during my downtime. I wonder if it's this "culture shock" everyone keeps warning against or something else. My guess is something else. After all, this is something I do somewhat frequently, though some people seem to find that surprising. *shrugs* Should you comment... what I'm really curious about is this culture shock thing simply because I don't quite get what it is.

So... today some friends and I went to Kyoto along with some Japanese girls, Maya and Sayaka. On the way to the train station in Hirakata, I accidently stepped where a grate was missing. Hurt, but whatever, I ignored it. Didn't look at it until after I got back to the seminar house a few minutes ago. It's all uber swollen. Moral of the story: watch your feet when you walk.

After we got back in Hirakata, we all went to eat at this chicken place. The Japanese girls ordered all the food so we'd get to try some stuff they like. All of it was good except for one thing. There were these little fried things and the girls told us that they were a little hard. So I tried one. Didn't take long for me to start wondering what the heck I was eating. Had one hell of a time biting through the little sucker and after I finally did, I was feeling pretty sick to my stomach. After I finally managed to chew it up enough to swallow it, I asked what it was. It was cartilage. (Someone who overheard me and my friend talking about it elaborated that it was ear cartilage.) Moral of the story: Asking what something is before you try it isn't always a bad thing.

Eeee! Today I got an uber huge box in the mail. It was from my friend Karl. Inside was a really big, red, Valentine's Day teddy bear! It's sooo soft and cuddly! whee And he put a ton of different flavored Hershey's kisses in the box too, so the bear smells like chocolate and cherries. 4laugh It made me feel uber special! heart

"Oh the weather outside is frightful..."

Seriously, it is. o.o It's snowing really hard and the wind is blowing so fast! It was so horrid to walk in! >.< People say the roads are uber icky too. I hope morning classes are cancelled. Then I won't have to go to computer class which means I won't have to get up at seven. Of course, if morning classes are cancelled I may miss Japanese too, which would suck. Eh... lesser of the two evils. Hope for a snow day! scream
