Through the portal they went. Colors swirled around then as they walked on the illuminated pathway. A huge gateway stood before them. It was decorated with dove shaped diamonds the arch itself was made of the whitest gold with the most stunning pink sapphire branches intertwining it. A sign glowed above the archway in reflected light - Lumière. Through the gateway you could see the outstretching green meadows. They stepped through out onto a hill overlooking a small village and a huge castle which lay a mile from that. There was also a tall lighthouse looking tower the lay a few yards from the village on the way to the castle. It was nearing sunset and a soft breeze blew by as they started walking towards the village so that they could gain some sort of bearings on this new strange land. After an hour of walking down the hill towards the village. When they got there they saw that the village was in a flurry. Women were running around trying to find their children and everyone was heading towards the houses. “Excuse me sir,” Ichigo said flagging a man over to him, “What’s going on here? What’s the big rush?” “You must not be from around here. Night falls shortly and everyone is going into hiding for the night. If you have nowhere to stay then you are welcome in my home but please make haste and follow Me.” said the man. He led them to his home and a siren began ringing. “Let’s move to the basement it is much safer there.” The man told them. “I believe we haven’t properly introduced ourselves - I’m Avad.”

Night fell and the moon rose high into the air. The monsters came swiftly, searching for some source of food. Just then a terrible scream shot through the air. “What was that?” exclaimed Tanim. “I think someone is outside. We have to help!” said Ichigo. “It’s too dangerous and these monsters are stronger than normal enemies you would encounter. They are impervious to magic unless you can first weaken them using some sort of physical attack.” explained Avad, “You should try throwing your weapons at this target I have set up here. I use this for when I practice my fighting abilities.” Ichigo and Tanim both held their weapons in their hands, they aimed. “STRIKE RAID!!!!” Their weapons flew through the air hitting the target dead on. Their was one problem – their weapons were lying on the floor across the room. “Now focus your magic power and summon your weapon back into your hand.” They both focused and their weapons flew back into their hands. “Now try it all together.” said Avad. “STRIKE RAID!!!!” Ichigo and Tanim’s weapons flew and hit the target then the curved like a boomerang back to their hands. “Ok Tanim let’s go!” said Ichigo and with that they both headed out into the night.

Outside there were 3 monsters circling a wooden little boy. “Hey kid duck! STRIKE RAID!!” The attack ripped into the side of one of the monsters and all three of them began to advance towards them. “STRIKE RAID!!!!” Tanim’s attack flew through the air and managed to successfully cut the arm off of the monster on the left. Then a flash lit up the sky tinting it blood red. The monster grew his mar back and his severed arm grew a body making a whole new monster. “You have made a dire mistake. You will pay for your defiance.” The monsters advanced and a fierce battle entangled. Some of the villagers became inspired by their acts of courage that they too joined the fight. For hours Ichigo and Tanim fought desperately to stay alive but every time anyone chopped up an enemy it would just multiply. So many men were dying and even more were injured. A monster began an attack once again on the child. “STOP!” The monster stopped in its tracks. Ichigo then ran to the child and picked him up rushing him to Avad’s home. Avad came out to greet them as the got to his house. “You’ll be safe here kid.” said Ichigo. “We are all safe now it’s almost sunrise.” said Avad, “The attack is now over. I fear they will come with even more monsters tomorrow night. If only the Illumina Crystal was back at the top of the tower.”

“Illumina Crystal?” said Ichigo. The sun began to rise and the monsters began to teleport themselves away.

“It’s what protected Lumière until the threat of the monsters became more severe. After that the nobility became scared and locked it away with them in Illumine Castle. If only there was some way to get it back.”

“I know me and Tanim will go to the Castle and ask for the crystal to be returned.” The sun’s rays shone over the village and the frozen monster burst into dust and blew away into the wind. “We won’t come back until we have it safely back in the tower.”

“I hope so.”

Tanim returned to Avad’s house and Ichigo explained to her what they were going to do. “Sounds great. Anything to help these people.” said Tanim. The whole village came out to watch them depart. “I promise we’ll free you from the evil monsters.” yelled Ichigo back to everyone.
