One day this week, I had a dream that I moved to Oklahoma. Now, I don't mean any offense to Oklahoma in any way, since I think it's a nice state and all.
But in my dream, I couldn't stand to pledge allegiance to the United States of America.
You know why? 'cause I'm Canadian and proud.
I remember a few weeks ago when a boy in my class said that Canada sucked. He said, "USA has everything better than Canada." And you know what? I agreed.
Right after then, I felt like a real crumb. Aw c'mon, I was lambasting the country I'd lived in since I was 4! All for a country that I hardly even thought of living in.
You see, Canada has alot of good things, free healthcare, etc. But sometimes, the bad things just get to ya. Like, ya know, CanCon.
If you don't know what CanCon is, it's basically the rule that about 50 percent on TV and radio has to be Canadian Material.
Well, that pissed me off.
What I think is that they should lower the percentage to 25 percent or something, that would make it less hateable. But NO, the organization thinks is just fine at that percentage.
Fine, MY a**.
And the cost of the loonie. It's unpredictable. You'll see it rise, fall, until you don't even know what they're talking about. It's super annoying.
But Canada has alot to be proud of. We've had a great history, free healthcare (Thanks to T.J. Douglas, first NDP leader and voted Greatest Canadian) and lots of other things that I just can't mention. Yes, I'm still planning to move to Japan when I grow up, but I don't have a problem with never having a chance to live in USA anymore.
All thanks to that dream.

Okay, so this is my first journal entry in a long while. Can't say I grew fonder of journals during that period, but I'm just tempted to write an entry now.
Okay, I guess I was on hiatus too long. Most of my friends don't even have me on their friend list anymore! I was a bit surprised, but hey, I was away for about 2 months, should have expected them to forget about me.
I did a little drawing of my avatar; it's really CUTE! But unfortunately, I don't know how to scan. Also, I broke the sliding ledge on which the printer/scanner sits, so I can't slide it out now. My dad doesn't know yet; what am I going to say when he finds out? cry
I really want that veil thing in the donations program, although I can't cause my parents don't let me donate anything. (not complaining) I better buy it on the market this month, or the prices will SOAR. (Look at what happened to the mini wings!) Hmmm.. about 2 people on my friendslist have contacted me since I came off hiatus. (The note was off starting yesterday.) I'm looking forward to roleplaying again; but unfortunately I can never find enough time to take part in a long-term roleplay. I was about to join this cool-looking chinese titled roleplay earlier this morning, but unfortunately, there was too little time!
Wow, so much has changed since I logged on for the first time in 2 months. (I was on here sometimes, even though my profile said on hiatus.) Compared to my other entries, this entry is very LONG. And I think I enjoy writing journal entries now! (Ignore earlier comment about not liking journals much.) Oh well, I was always a really good writer. Well anyways, bye for now!
