Thock..Thock..thock..The sounds..Someone outside planting a few trees into the soil..
One normal day, sun shining bright, spreading it's blinding lights in every direction.. "Aira, Would you be a dear and fetch me some herbs from out in the forest..?" A kind smile, blue eyes light brown hair. The one who spoke, was Hisui. Aira's kind hearted mother. Kind yet strong willed, and pretty stubborn. "Sure, Mommy!!" Chimed a little girl, age 3-4 or so. Shining amber eyes and the same light brown hair. She snatched the basket from her mother and ran off. "Bye bye, Mommy. Be home later!!" This was Aira. She ran past the house and peered in. "..Daddy..?" She asked softly looking around. No sign of him. Ashin, Aira's older brother appeared and smiled at her. But he seemed..kind of cold now.. And his smile gave the little girl shivers. "Dad's in his study, Ai. As usual. Again." Ashin explained to his little sister. Aira blinked a couple of times before nodding. "I be goin' out an' get some herbs!!" Aira chimed pointing at her basket. Ashin nodded. "Right.." He said rather plainly and waved as Aira trudged off towards the village gates. She stared at the big sign. Moonguile Village, It read. Aira made a face. "..MooOOoo...nnn..Guh...Eye..illlee...." She stumbled along her pronounciation, trying to read what the sign had said. She shrugged it off and went on her merry way towards the forest.
It only seemed to be moments before a sharp, agonizing scream tore into the air. Aira cried out covering her delicate fox hers, almost dropping the basket of medicinal herbs she had collected. Luckily her extremely fast reflexes saved it.. "What was..tha' supposed t'..be...?" Aira asked. It seemed increadibly dark and silent all of a sudden..and the poor girl could have sworn she saw the bushes rustle. Aira glared extending her claws, trying her best to look fierce..but even for a half demon, it was hard, realising she was just a little kid. Not to far from the toddler stage either. Aira frowned, suddenly smelling a foul stench creaping up from the other end of the forest, where her village stood, gates tall and proud yet not entirely indestrcutable. Aira took timids steps back, the smell getting stronger, and stronger, so strong it made her feel like gagging. "Unnnkkk.."Aira muttered, lowly covering her nose quietly. She finally reached the village gates..EVERYTHING..was dead silent. She stared at the dirt, crimson red.. Aira had a horrible feeling about this.. Really bad.. She pushed open the gates with all her might and nearly screamed, when she saw the horrible sight. Corpses..blood...weapons scattered across the bloodied ground..It looked like a battle field. Aira shivered tears stinging at her eyes. "Mommy..?" The little girl called out softly. She dashed through the village towards the strange mansion-like building, where she lived. The door was wide open. Aira froze, stepping in slowly. She didn't like the feeling in this dang room. "..Mommy..? Daddy..?...Nii-chan..?" She whispered lowly.
