A Chirstmas Letter to Santa |

This was a poem I wrote a few years ago. It can still tug at heart strings, and it gives you something to think about to this holiday season, that it isn't always happy for everyone.
Dear Santa,
I write this letter, and by the cookies I do place
so hopefully you will see
what is written on this pages face.
You can take my presents back,
I don't need any this year.
If you would grant one Christmas wish
among all the holiday cheer.
I lost my friend this year.
We buried her and her mommy Christmas Eve.
Mommy's tried to explain to me
Why they had to leave.
In this festive season
When friends and family meet,
and even strangers receive
A very friendly greet.
I know you aren't normally
the one to take people home.
But please, I ask, for this once
Will you please take some?
She is a very special friend,
One I've never had before.
One who never asked much of me
and will now ask no more.
Her mommy wasn't very rich
they were very very poor,
and their trailer was so cold that many times,
they showed up at the door,
thread-bare were their mits, and clothing,
and they shivvered were they stood.
We'd bring them inside, and they'd stand before the fire
and warm up as best they could.
But they were very rich Santa,
She always told me that,
and they would travel far an wide
at a single drop of a hat.
They're favorite place was Arabia,
where they would have IceCream and look over the sand
And they were never cold there
as they gazed over the land.
I asked how they could do this,
how they had so much fun.
And her mommy smiled down at me,
and said they used their imagination.
That no matter how much money they had,
even if it were none,
and no one could ever keep them
from their vacation in the sun.
but now the sun is gone for them;
we buried them in the ground.
and I put their presents in with them
where I hoped they would be found.
'Cause I'm sure that even angels
can open presents they receive
even if they were given
to the bodies they had to leave.
My Christmas wish Dear Santa,
I trade my presents for
Is you take my friend and her mommy
very very far.
And take them to Arabia,
where they have dreamed an then,
let them have lots of Ice Cream,
and never be cold again.

Welcome, Dextrion Royall, Kylandrei Forest's second dragon-kylandrei.
As a note to all kylandrei owners, these dragons are based off of D&D Chromatic dragons. As a reference to help mold your character, feel free to use any of the information below. You are welcome to use their breath weapon, but without God-moding.
All offspring of dragon-kylandrei will also receieve the same special cert of a parent. Keep in mind that dragon kylandrei are easily more than twice the size of a normal kylandrei!

Notes: Blue dragons are the second most powerful of the classic chromatic dragons. They are physically distinguished by the single large horns protruding from their heads and also by their ears, which are rather large and frilled. The tail is thick and bumpy, like that of a caterpillar. The wings are more pronounced than most other species'. They smell like ozone or sand.
They are more likely to be mocking and manipulative than outrightly cruel or murderous to 'lesser' creatures, aided greatly by their natural talents for hallucination. They are infamous for tricking desert travelers into drinking sand or going miles out of their way to avoid nonexistent dust basins.
Blue dragons tend to be carnivorous though they will eat plants on occasion. While almost anything is potential food, a blue dragon prefers camels above all else. They are enemies of brass dragons.
Blue dragons are orderly creatures, and are unusual for chromatics in that they keep fairly well-ordered, hierarchical societies.
Despite their evil nature, they are actually excellent parents to their young, and will rarely leave their eggs unattended. Blue dragon eggs must be buried in warm sand to incubate. Blue wyrmlings are actually quite cute, but they are quick to taunt any other creature, and even quicker to hunt small desert creatures for food.
The typical blue dragon lair is dug into one of the towering rock formations that dominate desert landscapes. As with all dragon lairs, the blue dragon's lair will have two entrances: one at ground level and hidden by the sand, and one opening onto a high ledge on which it can perch and survey its territory. Each lair also has a large subterranean cavern with a large pool of water and a sandy beach, which its inhabitant will use for drinking and relaxation.
The blue dragon excels at aerial combat, perhaps more so than any other species of dragon. Their lightning discharges are very easy to aim at other aerial foes, or at creatures below them on the ground. They are one of the most powerful dragons at spellcraft. They are also extremely adept at burrowing in sand, and often lie in wait just below the surface of the desert for prey. When they are so burrowed, their large horns can easily be mistaken for pointed desert rocks.

Kiyoshi, my pet from Fortunes of China, has officially killed Gaia! And the inhabitants of the shop were not happy. Starts on page 380
The crash happened right after a picture of him was shown in the shop. THe following happened:

me *crawls back in* Wow. Gaia was just being weird.....
Hex Mark Yeah... it wouldn't lemme on for the longest time...
me Me neither. *fluffs Hexie after pouncing her* Kiyoshi: My beauty could not be handled. It took one look at my picture, and glitched from wanting.
I think it was wanting alright. It was wanting to get rid of the image so it didn't have to see you anymore. ninja *runs*
Aqua Drageen Phew, then it wasn't just me, then. x3; I was getting really peeved at my connection for awhile. *tosses a blanket over Kiyoshi to keep it from happening again* >O lol
SnowLeopardCub Meilin: -snuffles-Jiang: -stares into space then shakes his head- KIYOSHI!!!!!!
me Kiyoshi: *muffled* Hey! What's going on out there!?*Snorts, and ties the end of the blankets together with a cord so it makes a bag.* There. That should keep Gaia from dying again. *watches the bag wiggle*
Aqua Drageen xDD @ bagged Kiyoshi Poor thing... *makes him up a bento box and stuffs it in there, too* That's better! :3
SnowLeopardCub Meilin: -trots around and looks at the wiggling bag and snorts curiously-Jiang: -tilts head in curiosity-
Hex Mark **LAUGHING with Ruka at Kiyshi and sky** Ruka: I like that young one that way.
me Kiyoshi: *chews on the bento box, then snots as he hears Ruka's comment, though not hearing Meilin come close* Sy tht to me fase old one! *his words are still muffled*
Hex Mark Ruka: **comes right up to the bagged Kiyoshi** I like you in there. XP
me Kiyoshi: *tries to get his feet out to kick at Ruka, but just gets tangled in the bag and rolls*

me Kiyoshi: *squeels in surprise as feels something land on him, and tries t bolt, but ends up rolling again* WaAaAhHhH!!!!

Well, I started my first quest thread today. It's going to take me forever to reach my goal. But I really want to get a custome one of these. They are really cool. I hope I manage it. I'll need a lot of help from others though. I don't know anyone with anywhere near that amount of gold though. smile That's why it's called questing. wink

Wow. I never knew how long it took to raise gold. I was happy to get 6,000. But A guild costs 20,000 to open. Wow. Though, I decided to get one of those breedable horses, but it's going to take a llllooonnnngggg time before I get it. My plan was to open a guild, with my artwork in it. My own 'breedables'. And hopefully, (and yes legally. I don't scam) make enough money, to buy one of the ones I want.
I wish they had a bank. So I could store my gold in it. And it could collect interest or something. Because There is no way I can manage it, unless I'm either collecting and don't buy a thing for my Avi or anything else for a long time.

Well, working on owning a shop pass to sell all the bugs and trash I seem to be collecting. biggrin Since I don't know what else to do with them. But, I hope I will be able to make gold that way, so I can actually dress my avatar in something other then rags. I have a neat idea as to what to make, but I know I will need the gold to do it.
