to: the people that changed my life.

you came into my life,
one person at a time,
and now im sitting here,
writing this rhyme.

my brother, my sister,
and even my wife.
i just hope you all know,
that you changed my life

you've shown me new things,
that ive never known,
and deep in our hearts,
we're never alone.

i've soared through the sky,
gone hunting for bears.
we've sat there and drawn,
in dining room chairs

im writing this now,
almost in tears,
only because,
i havent seen you in years

the lost, the tortured,
they all do not know,
all of the love,
that all of you show.

i miss you all dearly,
and i love you all.
i just really wish,
that i could call.

you are my family,
you are my friends.
this closeness we have,
will never end.
