Well, I am now a college freshman. My first day wasn't too bad and I like all my professors. It sucks because I can't get internet connection on campus (I commute). But on some days I have like 3 hours between classes and it would be so nice to be able to check in for messages and crap. But anyway. Yeah, College isn't as scary as I thought it would be. Lots of reading though. It's a good thing I like to read for the most part.

I am totally loving the writing arena. Writing is my art, it's what I love to do! Granted, I love to write fanfiction, but I have a few of my own original ideas and this seems a good place to get some feedback. If you'd like you look me up in the writing arena, under fiction. Hey, for those of you who talk to me regularly, I thought you'd like to know, that I now work from 10-1AM EST and usually 4-8PM EST Just so if I leave suddenly without telling you, that is why. ^_^

We got a fairly bad ice storm yesterday and today. My power went out like 8 times. It was the most annoying thing ever! Every time I got everything running again the power would go out!! burning_eyes I think our power's pretty stable now. I kinda hope we get a snow day tomorrow though. Day's off are always nice, especially whenever my parents aren't home. They're just more fun when you have the whole to yourself... well ok.. and your annoying little sister, but she usually takes the downstairs, and I take the upstairs, so we're cool... usually.

Last night was my high school's first forensic meet (For those who don't know, forensics is public speaking). I got 6th place crying Well... at least I placed... but I got last place. I know why though. I chose a piece that was all wrong for me and I realized that too late. What really ticks me off is that our coach knew it and she didn't tell me! I'm not really mad at the couch though, because they're both pretty awesome, and I really have no one to blame but myself, and I still had a good time, drew some comics, made new friends, almost passed out.... stuff like that. Next time I will beat them all! I will place first damnit! *maniacal laughter*

For anyone who talks to me regularly, you might have noticed the past few days I haven't been on very much. That is because my modem died!!! I cried. I had a mini funeral for it with my friend Jazeria. But I bought a new one. It cost me my whole pay check, but I got it!!! Yay!! *does a happy dance*
