about the NIV study bible -intro- the new international version of the bible (niv) is unsurpassed in accuracy, clarity, and literary grace. the commitment that led to the completion of this version later guided several of its translators to spearhead publication of the niv study bible. their purpose was unchanged: to communicate the word of god to he hearts of people. -old testament- genesis -title the first phrase in the hebrew text of 1:1 is bereshith ("in [the] beginning), which is also the hebrew title of the book (book in ancient times customarily were named after their first word or two). the english title, genesis, is greek in origin and comes from the word geneseos, which appears in the greek translation (septuagint) of 2:4, 5:1. depending on its contex the word can mean "birth," "geneaolgy," or "history of its origen." in both its hebrew and greek forms, then, the title of genesis appropristely describes its contents, since it is primarily a book of beginnings. - GENESIS 1:1 - the begginning 1in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of god was hovering over the waters.. 3 And god sid, "let there be light," and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he seperated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light of "day," and the darkness he called "night." what is love to me but an emty shell of pity my friends hurt them selfs to show that the care for others other that thinking off them selfs a wise man once told me that a rock can be throughen around like a pice of hay in the morning breez than a rock that sits alone on the bottem of a large river the meaning to theis passage is that you can go through many things in life being thrown around like a rag doll then to sit and do nothing to help others and not be shelfish another wise man told me that if a little fish was thrown into a pond it will stay small but if you throw a small fish into the ocean it will grow the meaning of this passage is that you may stay small but you will still grow by small fish eating smaller fish making small fish bigger -giggles-sigh life is an absent minded thought only thought by absent minded people you ot supose to care about your life you supose to care for others heed my advice and dont think about yourself care for your friends and family make them relize that its ok to cry many have cryed on my shoulder actually i havea friend that went to the hospital and she came back i grabed her arms and i knew exactly why she went to the hospital i was right she tryed to commit sucide by cutting herself i held her in my arms and i let her cry on her shoulder hay im not saying that i haventcryed on one of my friends shoulders but i also not saying i did cause i really did life is inportant to us even though you dont fit in theyre is no reason to fight or argue life is full of mistakes you may thing god or whatever (i dont belive in god please dont hate me)made you to be perfect then you find out your not so you get depressed saying hell never except you unless you correct your self by killing your self its not right we all are perfect in are own ways but we are also not perfect in many ways my life is done for now ill tell you what life is really about later peace out -love the goddess of angels angel aka(only the real people i know know my birth name) biggrin smile redface crying stare xd 3nodding blaugh gonk scream stressed sweatdrop heart domokun xp whee wink sad surprised eek confused cool lol mad razz cry evil twisted rolleyes exclaim question idea arrow neutral mrgreen ninja 4laugh rofl pirate talk2hand burning_eyes cheese_whine dramallama wahmbulance emo iSuckForA_Cent · Thu Aug 17, 2006 @ 05:40am · 0 Comments
