When you think of bells, you probably think of little gold trinkets that make a ringing sound. Or maybe you think of jingle bells...or large church bells. Either way, they are messengers, for they tell people of an animal coming(like a cow or cat) or they tell people of a person coming (like when they hang them on shop doors) Or they tell when its time for church when its church bells.
Most people like bells for the ringing sound they make. The cute sound the little ones make, and the large, haunting sound of the large ones.
But today we hear less and less of those sounds. People have no need for bells to tell what time it is, they have watches and cell phones for that. They don't need to know where their animals are, they have technoligy that covers that, too. Where are the bells going? technoligy takes care of just about everything nowadays, so bells are going extinct, along with many other forgotton things.
When i think of bells, i tend to think of Angels, too. Because they are messengers also. And people think that they can do so much better with technoligy instead of things like bells, and "silly superstitions" like angels. Shouldn't you use what will help you? Bells haven't lost their use. Cell phones can't do everything a bell can. And no chunk of metal can replace an angel's job. Bells may be rare, but they aren't gone yet.
