Everylittle bit about this world shines in a different light-
Not everybody sees what you see.
/Child of light you dance around the firepit
Child of dark you lay in the shaded grass-/

Grayscales and hues of black and blue-
What horrors have you incured?
What dreams have you subdued?

While the population moves along. Dragging you on the ground-
You grasp and gasp for breath of life-
Trying hard to keep up the fight.
Talk of angels, demons and God-
It's impossible for those to get along.

Pulling up from the muck and myer-
They could only hope to put out your fire.
Though hurt and cold and bruised-
There was no way that you would lose.

While the world continues to tear itself apart-
You alone create your art.
Of different worlds
Of new beliefs
Of the pain you suffered
Of the wounds that healed.

The people you've met-
The people you hate-
Those invisible-
Uknown souls.
Who helped you through the darkest times-
Because of them you are alive.

Remnants of smoke drifts around my room. -
Oh how I've thought long about you.
Althought summer days are never with wanting
When wintry winds chill-
I find myself alone...

Huddled in my own world, with my friends-
Where do I fit in inside your room?

Is it foolish to say,
Throught my most depressing days-
I have never stopped loving you?
And am I wrong to think that I am happy the way things are?-
But I would be happier where you are-

Laughing off my darkest deeds-
My cruelest moments.
I am conceited with no regrets-
For I know these are lessons of living-
I don't accept God's silly tests...

My heart is where it needs to be-
But I'm sure it would be complete-
Next to yours...

Some call it pining- Maybe,
I just haven't grown up-
But I know I've changed the world around [aswell as myself]

So when you call me on the phone-
Even though, I'm alone-
I will always be your friend...
(I will always be yours...) Till the end...
