So here's what's up. Today was my first day of camp (Dayjams, if anyone's wondering... I know it looks kinda goofy, but its fun). Not the log cabin, swim-in-the-lake camp, or the marching-band camp, but the rock guitar, drums, and bass camp (keyboard and singing, too). It was great so far... Our band is pretty cool (musicl ability? not sure how great in that way, but mostly everyone is likeable and I have some friends that I know... and there's this hot guitar player... hehehe...), but... we've got no singer. How can you have a rock band without a singer? I don't know, but apparently they were short on them and didn't give us one.
Not much happend... You just kinda had to be there moments, really. Our song has a chorus chord part and partially a verse part... This kid Marco suggested some chords, but I don't really like them. They don't match at all. There were some other chord ideas around that I thought were much better....
Anyways, on to my writing. I've been working on a story, still untitles, I guess.. The details are yet to be smoothed over, but it's about the adverntures of these two elfin children. I know, sounds dorky, but it's my best story, I think. Haven't worked on a major project in awhile, and I'm hoping to take it far. I'm basically almost done with chapter 3 (each around 5-10 pages, I guess.), and maybe I'll post it as a journal sometime. In the meantime, I'm hoping chapter 1 will get me into the writing guild I want to be in.
Drawing: My little "webcomic/manga" is kinda on haitus. I still really like it idea-wise and all, but it's really time-consuming and I don't think my art is up to par at all... I'll work on it every now-and-then, but I'm thinking I might just make a story out of it (as in novel format). Otherwise, I've been doing random sketches, but lately my scanner hasn't been working. I'll have to try again.
Blah time... I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything. Participating in Neopian guilds, Gaia, other websites... Guitar, drawing, writing, summer reading, other summer things, family, camp... AAH! It may seem worse than it really is, but it feels frustrating to have much stuff to do.
