Soooooo.
In my last entry, i talked about getting Darnell to ask my friend, out righ?
Well, me and this other guy (friend) teamed up, and we told darnell that if he didnt go ask Charlene out, i would have ben go do it for him.
And i SWEAR he was like trying to get drunk or something on root beer, and it wasnt working, so we got him to go up and do it.
And he goes and he asks, and me and ben are sitting a few desks away, watching, and then Bora comes up and she's like 'watcha doin?' And i'm like 'MOVE!'
And me and ben are giggling madly, and then melissas all like 'whats going on' to us, and we go 'darnells asking charlene out' feeling like we were kids doing something that we would get in trouble for if we were caught.
and she's like 'oh goodie'
and then charlene TURNS HIM DOWN.
And i was like AHHHHHHHH! NO! Charlene, why'd you do that?! It took me all day to get him to ask you out!!!!!
and she says she told blake no as well, and that she decided that she didnt want her life to get complicated.
and i go 'BUT IT TOOK ME ALL DAY TO GET HIM TO ASK YOU OUT!!!'
and then i go on my knees to darnell and say 'darnell, i am so sorry that i made you do that. if you are feeling embarrased at all or something, just blame it all on me, okay? And if your feeling mad at me too, thats fine. But in my defense, i want you to know that she turned blake down as well, and she likes you, she just doesnt want to have a boyfriend.'
And hes like okay
And i'm sitting behind him, and bens sitting behind me, and we're saying 'o man, now i feel awful'
and i tell ben that he might want to go apologize to darnell too.
And im staring at the back of darnells head, thinking 'is he mad at me? he has every reason to be mad at me...'
and then i think charlene might be mad at me because i made her life get more complicated, and i was scurrying around sticking my nose in everybodys buisness, so, after school, i ask her and she says 'well, if you didnt force him to do it im not mad at you'
And i dont say anything.
Im thinking 'he could have told us at any time to back off, and he didnt. i didnt FORCE him to do it'.
But i'm feelin like an absolute b***h.
