Portal 2 is the perfect example of where the game industry needs to be looking towards in the future. This game is a full package, a solid single player campaign with a fun and intuitive co-op mode. The single player has fun and clever puzzles, great pacing and voice acting, and every character, even the silent protagonist, Chell, is memorable. Better yet, the game is genuinely funny! Speaking of voice acting, Stephen Fry and J.K. Simmons have some of the most hilarious and quotable lines in recent game history. Combustible lemon guns and other laugh inducing inventions are mentioned, and every single one always makes me crack a smile. The gameplay is smooth, and sticks to the original games formula while still adding new mechanics the whole way through the five to six hour campaign. And just when it seems one of the puzzles is impossible to solve, Valve has a way of making it click, just when you're about to give up.
Portal is sure to be a classic that future generations of gamers will be able to enjoy, and deserves a 10/10!
