While we live, we spend a good deal of time making money for ourselves, and for someone higher up.
What about this, what id they found a way to keep you alive to keep earning money for such an entity? All this assuming the technological level was able to do such things, of course.
If they could clone your essence and keep you from dying.
These entities wouldn't be able to collect off you if you were dead, perhaps a law would be passed prohibiting death.
It's almost as if hell would have come to us.
Such a concept...

Mars.
That red planet in the sky, about a third the size of earth, twice as big as our moon.
Its has two moons, which don't really resemble moons at all. More like chunks of rock.
If I am not mistaken, our solar system also has its very own asteroid belt.
Now, what if the asteroid belt was once another planet?
Moreover, what if Mars is not its own planet, but a moon of this destroyed one?
And one last though, assuming the previous two statements are true, what was it that destroyed this planet?
Think about it...

Many people often ask, "Is there live out there?"
This is the wrong question to be asking. It is not an "is" but a "when" that we should be asking. "When will we make contact?"
The day that we do, be it either that they come here, or we meet them out there, life will change forever.
There are, however, three outcomes to this meeting.
The first being that the extraterrestials will be god-like and lead us into a golden age of technology and properity.
The second would be very much like our current economic system. Suppose they find a resource valueable here on Earth, they would only communicate with the leaders, and the general public would be in the dark.
The third would be that the human race would become either slaves, pets, or lunch to the extraterrestials.
Only time will tell...
