Lucky Penny
Bad luck seemed to flourish around Penny these days. Only today she found herself waking late, stepping in gum (twice), falling down stairs (thrice), and also any number of events leading one to believe in bad luck. Walking down the deserted highway, Penny noticed a coppery-glint on the road ahead. A sign!

Pick it up
All day long
You’ll have good luck!
Penny never saw headlights, nor the driver Penny.
Ironically, the paramedic prying Penny’s body from the pavement had good luck for the rest of his days.
