Character Bio: Magnus was born into a small clan, The Iru, that live deep within Wolfswood, at Deepwood Matte. For the most part, they have lost contact with the outside world, and most do not even know or remember them. They are at peace with nature, they even hunt with and ride the elusive Direwolves, which are a legend to most. He was the son of the clan chief. Being in the wild, he learned how to hunt, track, survive, and communicate with nature. As a child, he was quick to learn and very curious, and interested in the world around him. By 18, he was the best scout/warrior in the Clan. He had been trained to use every weapon imaginable, but for the most part, he uses his scimitars, Dusk and Dawn, and his trusty Ash bow. By 21, he grew tired of his home and he yearned to travel, despite his father's warnings. So, one night he left with his companion, a Direwolf named, Jinto. Luckily, Direwolves can change their colors to blend in with their surroundings. He wandered for a while, not liking the large, crowded cities to the South. So, he traveled North, until he came upon the Wall. He followed the wall, until he came upon the area where the Free Folk, pass through. He stumbled upon a small village of Free Folk, he was near to death because he was not used to the freezing cold of the FrostFangs. He was nursed back to health and lived with them until he 24. He learned a lot in that time, how to live in the North, how to communicate and get help from Giants and other mythical creatures of the North, he also learned of the World and how other Free Folk are savages. Again, he left, not able to stay in one place for far too long. This time, he decided to scale the wall and look for the NightsWatch. So, he joined them, and quickly joined the ranks to become, First Ranger of the Greyguard, which had gotten wiped out. He was the only one to survive. So, he took over as First Ranger of Shadow Tower, after the previous's death. The Nightswatch is perfect for him. Even though he is First Ranger, he is usually out with his fellow rangers.

Appearance: Magnus, is around 6', up or down, given his posture. He has a lithe frame, with perfectly honed muscles from fighting, hunting, and his lifestyle. His hair comes down to his chin, and is jet black. He has many scars like any hunter, along with a Direwolf's head on his chest, a Giant on his back, and tribal tattoos intertwining throughout these, from his torso up onto his neck. He wears the coat of a Frost Leopard, with the cowl usually up. He also wears the hide of a Giant, and has a black adamantite chainmail on.
