You dragged me into the light and watched in blindly as the light cuts open my body and a warm puddle of black liquid forms under me. I lay there in pain as I’m stunned by the fact you were the reason this happened to me. You kneel beside me holding my limp body in your arms staining everything with blood, your tears slip down your face and come to rest on my lifeless cheeks. Closer you press me against you hoping your mistakes would just heal themselves, but it’s too late. I mouth my last words to you ‘Good by….’ And I slip back into the darkness of my life

Hues of purple, a color that surrounds my life keeping me safe in the dark but letting some light leak through. It’s the reason I’m still here, still alive, still living for it…for him. The one who smiles down on me, holding me in warm gentle hands while the people around me wither away and die. My last hope, My only hope for a reason to live.
