Bartholomew Henry Allen II, sounds kinda prissy-fancy when you say it like that though. Everyone calls me Bart, or Impulse…or Imp.

Physically and mentally I'm fifteen...or sixteen...somewhere in that range, but really I'm about 3. My birthday is on February 22ed and...I can't remember the year exactly, sometime in the late 30th century.
3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?
Late 30th century...not exactly sure where. Right now I live with the Garrick's, and...I guess I'm patriotic. Never really thought about it.
4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father was Don Allen, one of the Tornado Twins. I'm not sure what he was like. He died before I could ever get to know him.
My Mom is Meloni Thawne...I'm not sure what my mom's job is exactly. I never really got to know her much either. She lives in the future. I know we are a lot alike, and she use to call me Sunshine.
5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
Owen Mercer is my half brother and I have Thad. I don't really know much about Owen. Thad's really serious and quite most of the time. He can be funny when he wants to be but it’s in that dry kind’a way.
6. What is your occupation?
*shrug* Just you're every day, run of the mill vigilante.
I've been looking for a real job that I can get pay for, but it's a lot harder than the TV makes it out to be.

I'm around 5'3 and I'm not sure about my weight...I think I was somewhere between 110 and 120 pounds last time I weighed myself. I'm not even sure how long ago that was.

My hairs brown, and my eyes are yellow.

Hero class. Or high school class.

*shrugs* Uh'dun-know. Never really thought about it. I've been told I am, but then I've been told I'm not too, sooooo. Feh.

Nope. 'Lest, none that I can think of.

Not that I'm aware of.

Right handed.

Uhhhh....That is a weird question. Mnnrrr I don't know how to describe my own voice. I guess uhhh...boy like? Heh.
I've been told I'm kind'a nasally. And really annoying when I talk too fast.

Typical English vocabulary for the most part with a little Interlac lased in, bits and pieces from other languages that I pick up, along with a dash of geek and Chat-Speak to even it all out. Heh.
18. List three quirks or other defining characteristics.
Sitting still is torcher, I have to always be moving, tapping my foot, bouncing my leg, drumming my fingers. Sometimes my fingers press buttons on a controller that isn't there (up up down down left right left right b a start). I sometimes still forget this isn't a game (anyone who knows me well enough will know that pressing none existent buttons isn't the only thing that comes from that little "quirk" wink . I drift a lot, I don't mean to (for the most part) it just kinda happens. If you're talking to me, and I'm looking at you but it feels like I'm not, it's 'cuz I'm really not. I have a lot of time to kill between your words. Sorry.

19. How often do you bathe? Do you wear perfumes?
I bath every day, because people will complain if I don't. I apparently turn sour quickly. I don't bother with fake smells. Except for my deodorant, which smells all weird and "spicy". Who wants there pit's to smell like spice?! That's so weird. Guess it's better than BO though.
20. What kind of facial expression do you commonly wear (dour glare, wry smile, etc)?
As I said before I drift off a lot, and it shows. Apparently I have three "common" expressions (like Keanu!). Bored. The lights are on but no one’s home. Or overly excited (like a puppy with too much energy). That's according to Kon.
21. Do you use body language? How?
I'll use whatever I damn well deem necessary to get my point across (even props). Body language is a big part of that. It's even better than using words in my opinion. For example; If I'm mad at you, there will be no need to ask. I'll throw something at you to let you know. No words can quite get across anger as well as having something lobed at your head.
Tim say's I'm an open book, whatever that's suppose to means. I don't control my emotions very well I guess, and you know what? I see no need too. Other people are too pent up, maybe if they just let things out they’d be less stressed.
But anyway...
I make it pretty easy to tell what I'm feeling.
I use my hands a lot when I talk, and I'll sometimes use my feet if I'm not using them to stand or move.

"I'm boooored." Said way too often for my own liking.
Childhood
23. What is your earliest memory?
My earliest memory? It's kind'a hard to tell the difference between real memories and virtual reality memories (I'm guessing those don't count). They kind of blend together all weird, I'm not even sure I have any real ones, except for occasionally doctors poking at me. Not sure which one of those is the first, they were all pretty much the same.
24. How much schooling have you had? Did you enjoy it?
I've had a few years of high school now. It's okay I guess, people wise anyway. It's so slow though. Can't they figure out a way to teach people faster or at least make it more interesting?
25. Where did you learn most of your knowledge and skill?
Videogames, comics, and movies taught me everything that people didn't. Grandma taught me a little about the world and how to write and speak English before she broke me out of Earth-Gov labs. Preston taught me about all kinds of little things like comics, and how you don't have to turn on a pencil to make it work (lol ^ ^). Carole, Cassy, Cissie, Hellen and Tim taught me about more things then I can list, and all without even trying! Kon taught me about being cool. Secret taught me alot of little things, and that just because some guys have authority, badges, and stupid black suits doesn’t mean they know snot or that they should be trusted. Thad taught me about how important family really is to me. Slobo taught me that sometimes you have to do something wrong to do something right.
And then Max...I guess he taught me a bit too.

A dream, only not.

As a little kid I WAS everything I wanted to be, there was no waiting for "when I grow up".

Not counting the times I was under the control of someone else or being tricked?
Probably that one time when I helped Kon trick Cissy in to wearing her old costume by stealing all her other cloths when she went in the shower. Or when I lobed that rake at Max's head. I knew it wouldn't hit him though!

When Max died.

All the time. I've been just about everywhere.
Beliefs

I’m with the good guys.

I like to think I'm optimistic, for the most part. I have my moments though.

I don't know. I like to think there is something out there, and that death isn't really the end, but none of the religions I've looked at really fit me. Maybe Buddhism. Buddha seems happy and none judgmental. Or maybe the flying Spaghetti monster, just because that religion sounds fun.

Yes. I don't like the idea of hell though. I don't want to believe in that. An eternity of pain? I don't know how anyone can honestly believe someone would deserve that. Even if they've done something horrible, no one deserves that kind of punishment. Especially not for some of those stupid reasons they have in most religions. Just because you don't believe in just the right god, or your gay, or look a certain way? How can anyone think that way?

That the next time I hesitate it will be with someone closer to me.

Oh, I'm a character now, huh? Well a lot of things make me angry, sad or happy. Way too many things to list here. Get to know me, you'll figure out what pretty quick. In fact just reading this meme will probably give you a pretty good idea.

I don't think there is such a thing as people being good or evil. Just people that sometimes end up doing bad things or making mistakes.
46. What are your views on politics? Religion? Sex?
When it comes to politics I'm pretty much on the same page with Lewis Black. If you find yourself wondering, " well who is this Lewis Black and what are his view"? Look him up on YouTube, or go find his books in your library. As for sex...I'm not really sure what I can say about that. And didn’t I just go over religion?
47. What are your views on gambling, lying, theft, and killing?
Gambling is only fun when you’re the house or if there is no real money involved. Lying and theft aren’t good but sometimes necessary, and killing is horrible…but sometimes unavoidable.
48. How far will you go to defend your beliefs?
Depends what belief and what’s being done against them. If it's someone just trying to argue over politics or something I'll usually stay out of it, because I really don't care. If you’re trying to tell me I shouldn't believe in something just because you don't believe it, I'll think your annoying but probably still ignore you, unless your close enough to me that I can pull on your ear or smack you without having to put much effort in to it. But if it's someone trying to go against my belief that I should be allowed to breath, I’m going to defend that pretty heavily.
49. How much do you value money?
Wally say's I have no concept of the value of money. I disagree. Money buys me food and video games, two things I value very highly, and one of which I cannot have anymore until I can get a job and money of my own.
50. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
I don’t know. I don’t think there really is a top of the list bad thing you could do…and I really don’t like thinking about that kind of thing. It’s just depressing.

That’s stuffs confusing. The idea that every one only has one other person out there that’s perfect for them is kind of scary. What if you never find that person? Or you do but you never get to really know each other. Like, you just say hi to each other in the mall, and that’s it. Nothing more, never see that person again. Does that mean you’re just gonna be alone for the rest of your life?! That would suck!

No…well occasionally. But not on purpose. I just…get confused.

Uuuuhhhh. I’ve been told I don’t.
I disagree. I think I respect people’s beliefs and opinions plenty, when I actually hear them, and until you start acting like an a**.

Very. I’m pretty bad at lying and hiding things. Cassie and Kon say I’m too honest about my feeling, it sounded like they meant it as an insult but I don’t get it. What’s so wrong with that? Max didn’t like it when I tried to lie or hide thing’s. Except for when it came to the “secret identity” thing, he was a hard a** about that.

Uhhhh not really.
Dealing With Others
57. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
I don’t have just one person who’s important to me. All my friends and family are important to me.

I don’t really “despise” anyone. At least not any one real.

No. Carol and I were boyfriend and girlfriend but she’s in the future with mom now.

Yeah I have a lot of friend.
I miss them.
I don’t get to see most of them as often since Young Justice split up. I think Robins been ignoring me but I don’t know why, Casie and I never really got along to well to begin with, Ray’s always busy, I don’t get to see Secr- I mean Gretta, Anita and Cissy as much since they started school (they aren’t superheroes any more so we can’t even hang out and do the fighting crime thing), and Anita has to take care of her parents.
And I’m not allowed to see my friends from Manchester since they didn’t know I was Impulse and it would really hard to explain the suddenly able to show up thing.
I still get to hang out with Kon though. I think he misses every one too, but he doesn’t like to talk about it.
Kon and Tim are my best friends.

I was with Carrol. I don’t really know how to describe it.

I was always comfortable around her. Even before we were really boy friend and girl friend, she made me feel I belonged here, which I didn’t feel a lot of the time, when I first got here. I think she knew me better than anyone, it felt like that a lot of the time. I know a lot of people think I’m stupid but she knew I wasn’t, and she could always find a way to make me understand things, even if it took a long time to get it.
I just wanted to be around her. I wanted to make her happy, and safe, even if she didn’t need me to keep her safe. She saved my butt more times than I did hers.
I wish she was still here.

I don’t really look for anything. Either I like someone or I don’t.

I try to be as close to them as I can. I haven’t been able to see Helen as often though. She’s busy most of the time I go over there.

Not long. I trust people pretty easy. Tim say’s I trust people too easy. But that’s coming from mister “trust issue” so I don’t know how reliable a source that is.

Not really. I kind of forget too quick to hold grudges. Except with Wally just because he gets this really funny look on his face any time I bring up anything from the past, and he’s a jerk.

I try to but people don’t let me. At least “hero people” don’t let me. I get to at school sometimes. And I do online a lot.
I don’t know why most people don’t trust me to lead in the real world more often. I think I’m pretty good at it.

I interact with large groups a lot, so I kind of have to like it. It was really wired the first time though. But fun. The whole school tried to beat me up. Preston even got it on video. I still kinda get that reaction sometimes, but the first time was on purpose. It was funny.

Judging takes time I don’t have. That’s the Judges job, not mine, that’s why they’re Judge’s.

I have a lot of enemies. I put them in jail. So they don’t really like me.
Personal Taste and Opinions

My favorite pastime, is video games and reading comics. My favorite color today is orange. Favorite food is pizza, specially fresh made pizza, or those barbeque wings from that one chicken place that use to be near my old school, and warm milk. Which I use to think was kind of gross, but Max use to make it all the time and it kinda grows on you. My favorite possession is my X-box 360.

Uhhhhh…video games? Preferably shooters. I’m sooo hooked on TF2 right now. Rainbows make your Scout cry.

No, no, no, and no.

I can’t get drunk, or even buzzed as far as I know.

Though I suppose (it’s not really a fantasy at least not from what I know of how people describe them) it would be nice if things could go back to how they were. If Max was back and I could go back to Manchester, and Young Justice was still together. I mean I love Joan and Jay, and they’ve been really nice to me, but…I miss how it was.

Hitting thing. Generally virtual things. Or running.

I can do art, and I’ve been told I can do it well, but I don’t consider myself artistic. Is that weird?
It’s kinda of the same thing with athletics. I’m in shape, and I’m good at sports when I can use my super speed. But without it, I’m not very good at them at all. So I’m not really and athlete either.

I like animals. And I like most children.

I’ve been trying really hard to be a planer, it’s what Max wanted me to learn, and I’m trying, I really am. But it’s hard.

It would probably be the same thing, my impulsiveness. A lot of the times it really helps me, other times it just gets me in trouble.
