I don't imagine Devil May Cry 3 was a tough game for everyone. I'm sure some people just breezed through level after level. For me, though, that game was a nightmare.
Maybe it has something to do with never having played the first two games. I didn't have enough experience at that particular type of gameplay. Popped the game in and couldn't get past the first level. A couple of dozen attempts later, I was frustrated enough to call it quits.
Kind of similar to Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox. Something about that game, I tell you. I could get to a certain point, and then no matter what I did, kaput. I got sliced and diced. And yet my best friend came over and played through nearly the whole game in a couple of days.
Suffice to say, I've learned my lesson. I will be steering quite clear of Devil May Cry 4. The devil may cry all he wants, he'll have to get a tissue from somebody else. Dante and I do not get along.
