There are things in this world that I will probably never actually acquire, but enjoy daydreaming about. I've often referred to these items as residing on my 'unobtainium presents list'. After realising I've never actually made a written list of these elusive spoils, a post was born. The following list will be added to as I remember/find more things for it. The Pan's Labyrinth website is absolutely beautiful:

I want to see this movie so very, very badly. Pan's Labyrinth is about a small family in Spain that move into an old house in 1943, after the rise of Fascism. Their eldest daughter, 12 yr old Ofelia, falls in love with a faun that lives in the old ruined labyrinth which resides behind their new decrepit home. It's directed by Guillermo Del Toro, who also made Hellboy, and The Devil's Backbone (an outstanding movie that is part war movie/part ghost story). You can find more info on Del Toro films here.

I've been a huge fan of Project Runway since season 2, and will probably keep watching it until the show gets the final axe. Really, I watch more for the personalities than the fashion (although the challenges are interesting). Blogging Project Runway is a great blog to drop by for details concerning the show and participants. For a fun spin on PR, Project Rungay is hilarious. For humor that's a little more visual, the photomanipulations over at Project Yawnur have to be seen to be believed. As a side note - Tim Gunn is awesome, and quite hot, imho.
